The last movie I watched was "Code 7, Victim 5" from 1964. It's a sort of detective story with a lead named Lex Barker who played "Steve Martin" a private detective. For an old flick I thought it did well on a moderate budget and the South African shooting locations were really impressive. However, there's one character played by Veronique Vendell that's worth the rest.

    Oh, and it's Technicolor!

Someone earlier had mentioned Jurassic Park,

1993 was quite a year for Steven Spielberg not only did he direct Jurassic Park but he also directed Schindler's List one of my all-time favorite films.

The one change I didn’t like from Michael Crichton's novel was the way Lord Richard Attenborough (John Hammond) was played. In the novel he was ruthless greedy bastard and in the movie he was everyone’s favorite grandfather.

Extinction. It was very different, intriguing, well acted. Definitely makes you wonder if AI will ever advance to the point of having feelings and awareness. Not like the movie of the year but decent enough to keep you watching.

Wait...what is this...how did I miss this when it came out?
Will Farrell and Danny Mcbride in a movie together?

I'm almost sold, but just one more thing. Will Ferrell is so hit or miss, which is it with this movie?

That was the first movie I remember being really LOUD. Like it definitely felt more immersive than anything I recall seeing around that time.

It's weird how the dinosaurs seem more realistic in that one then they did in Jurassic World (have not seen the newest one). The dino special effects hold up really well, the computers on the other hand, not so much..

Saw it at the drive in as a kid. I was making out during most of the movie like Jerry at Schindler's List.

Couldn't tell ya what happened in the movie, but it still holds a prominent place in Neo history :)
