Gosh I am so tired I can't even do a two word post without mistakes.

I'm a bit drunk. Well coming off. Downgraded to tipsy.

 

I don't think I have even drank any beer since Labor Day weekend. I've been getting a craving for a 6 pack lately though. I'll probably drink 1 and half and forget I have it. I've never been a heavy drinker.

 

I'm going on a good health kick starting today! Hopefully zero alcohol for at least 4 of the days in this week. And only good food.

Now I appear to have been bitten lately. Now I have sought irritation and itch on my cheek bone. =[ what's biting me in winter? ='[

 

i sometimes try to claw my own eyes out if i stay sober too long.. never bit my own face though

 

My sisters boyfriend's car engine is shot. He bought the thing and he still drove it off the lot when it was "making a funny noise". This shady dealer put a racing stripe on it and spray painted the hubcaps black. I guess that was enough to make him fall in love with this car. It's a Dodge Avenger not really a sports car so I am kind of surprised he is thinking with the wrong head over it. As a car guy I know that type of thinking but an Avenger? come on.

Now my sister is calling me because he wants to know why his check engine light flashes and the car violently shakes when it idles.
Now he is still making payments on this car with horrible credit so interest is over 10%. Needs 3-4 grand for a "new" rebuilt engine. His plan is to sell it for parts but I don't know if he is even going to break even.

 

He's got, what?, 3 days to return it?

 

Re-lined the wood furnace today... a thankless job.


Especially when they made the fire brick 1/16 of an inch larger than last year. It's a US stove, but the bricks come from China... Fuckin' Chinese crap never fits.

 

has it been checked out?...could be as simple as a bad coil

flashing light indicates catalytic converter damage situation detected (usually rich condition due to misfire)

 

I just bought a new (used) car and every little different noise and vibration it is making is turning me into a bundle of nerves! Gah!

 

May have overdosed on edible if that is possible to do

 

I have eaten too much and gotten sick. As soon as you throw up (and you have to throw up enough ) you will feel better.

I was usually hungry after everything in me was up. lol

Then I would be sleepy.

 

He tried to drive it to a mechanic and he got stuck a few miles from the shop. I don't know exactly what he did but he has no engine now.

No he is stuck with it. He's had it a few months.

 

That's bad news.

 

If you're not used to a hybrid, they will mess with your head for a while. Everything is different.

It took me forever just to get used to the sound of a five cylinder engine.

 

Also a neat little trick I use to ignore car noises is to turn your stereo volume up. what you don't hear you don't have to worry about.
