    What are some homophones?

A homophone is a word that is pronounced the same as another word but differs in meaning. The words may be spelt the same.

My first one is an easy one:

    Sea and See

    I thought it was more of a European/Canadian/Australian pronunciation. I don't know.
"You went to get some coffee aye, mate?"

They are pronounced the same. That is the definition of a homophone. They are spelled differently, but they are pronounced the same. Marry and Merry are pronounced the same. Balls and Boughs are no where near sounding the same to the ear.

How are Marry and Merry and Mary pronounced the same? Maybe in an american accent, but here they sound very different. Likewise for Aunt and Ant, actually. :D
