The Hipforums

Think way back to when you first started posting on these forums. How many people signed up just to ask a question or something...without the intentions of actually staying here? I don't remember exactly what it was that I had to ask, but I know I never planned on staying for the past year or so that I've been posting here haha.

I belonged to another forum that went to shit. I loved it there, and when it went to shit, I brought a few friends over and signed up here to keep interacting with em on a forum, and I liked it.. after a bit.. then I found all you people.. the rest is history.

 

A friend brought me here about 4 years ago, and I never intended to do anything except read about LSD and magic mushrooms. Next thing you know I moderate that whole forum :tongue:

 

my g/f at the time found this place looking for john lennon quotes and i realized there were so many forums with so many topics

WAY back in the day me and my best nerdy friends had our very own forum (which was more or less basically just the three of us) and then shit started getting weird and the guy who was hosting it just gave up on it

so i had a forum void to fill in my life and started coming here, like, way too much, my g/f hated it and she said she wished she never found the place

i got hopelessly addicted to hanging around the young hippies forum, and then it got way too bullshitty and dramatic and somewhere along the line i just left the forums

just a couple of months ago i decided to come back, because even with stumble and digg and facebook there's really nothing else to do on the internet

 

I never intended to stay here. I came here after my first acid trip because I just wanted to ask a few questions. that's why I have such a lame name. I never thought I'd be staying.

 

I was looking for hippy clothes and pictures for making clothes. way back in high school. when i joined the navy i couldn't login, and when i got out i had to make a new account.

I love hipforums. :hurray:

 

i just was just trying to find a place of like-minded people, and i did.

 

i asked a question on prices and shit a year ago and stayed here for like 2 months and then just left and remembered about it like 5-6 months ago and yeah, but im thinking of leaving cuz it got really boring and no new threads

 

^it would be a shame if you left man.

 

I don't even know why I came here at first, I really think I was looking for music forums and found this site or something..

Anyway, I liked it from the get-go, so decided to stay here!

Ha I searched best movie to watch stoned on google and it just so happened to pop up a thread. I loved the entire marijuana forum and was reading posts from people that sounded like I knew them. Well I did know them lol, and after that I decided to stay and start posting myself.

I had just got done watching Woodstock for like the 500th time, and I Googled "Where have all the hippies gone?" and this forum was the first hit. Curious, I checked it out and voila! Here I am.....

 

think i googled something like marijuana growing info and this was one of the results........made an account and well here i am!

Your opinion really. It was a thread where people listed their favorite movie.

 

Yea, I was just asking if there was a way to fix a whole in my glass peice and ended up staying lol.

I have absolute no idea how or why i came here.. but i'm here and thats all that really matters... sometimes i'll go mia for awhile and lurk, but then im back in action..
