It is the fucking best movie ever for reasons such as:

    Huge dipshit gets burned alive
    Mutants
Mutant gets pic axe though eye
    Girl gets raped
Mother gets shot in the face (GORY)
    Lots of fucking GORE!

    Meh...

I'm not going to go see it because

    1.The previews look shitty.
2.Myspace is advertising the FUCK out of it, so it can't be good.

I might end up renting it in a few years, but I doubt it.

I enjoyed it, for hardcore horror fans it is a must see. Director of High Tension and just as much if not more gore then High Tension. A fun movie.

Was it as good as the original? Did they have the bird scene?

Those reasons just make it not worth the five dollars to me, sorry if that bothers you, I wasn't aware my choices in movies had such a great effect on your life.

It was a good movie. The gore was cool, although I felt sorry for Beauty. :(
And out of all the characters, I'd have to say Beast was the best.

it was a good movie.. except i cannot stomach seeing rape, hearing of rape, or anything to do with rape.. thats the only thing that bothers me pretty much.

You are so full of shit. Everyone bases whether or not they want to see a movie on the previews, that being the reason they make previews. Anyone who denies that they do that is lying.

I remember the original back in '68. My granddaughter rented the re-make and showed it to me. She wants me to watch it with her but eeehh... I might watch it.

I saw the older one at a drive-in theatre. I payed more attention to my just-pregnant wife though. In other words: Junk. The newer one couldn't possibly be any worse.

not completly I base weather I see a movie on word of mouth from others who went to see it, why I never go opening week.

previews only put fuckin highlights and peice scenes together to make it seem like one thing is happening when its completly different in the movie. if you knew this you would learn not to base what movie you saw on a preview

you really cant judge a movie on its preview, because the previews tend to show the movie off as something its not, for example, the village being a scary horror flick, or this movie and hostel being 'too intense'

anyways, the movie sucked, about 5 minutes was good, from when he wakes up in the container of blood and body parts, to the axe in the eye.

other than that, it sucked, major bore, ending blew ass, it was just lame.

and the original came out in 78, not 68.

Totally. Burning that guy alive was badass, but I hate when they hurt animals in movies. Also too many people survived IMO.

    same badness.
    eww.
I'm scared to waste anymore of my life watching bad movies.

    THE LOST HIGHWAY

    Typo, my bad..

I saw the new version the other night... Not as bad as the original. But this was a bootlegged version my granddaughter got (so she apparently didn't rent like she told me she did) - so it was a little fucked already.
