I've been waiting for this since they first dreamed up this place. A place beyond the reach of ANY justice system, where Americans could flex their violent, bigoted ways with complete impunity.

    Until now that is...

Yes folks there are VIDEO tapes of American brutality in action at Guantanamo.

It proves how morally bankrupt America's leadership is to not only allow this, but to ORDER IT!

And you call America the "greatest country" in the world.

Shame on you! Shame on ALL of you to let this happen in YOUR NAME!

Bush is now in a class with Saddam Hussein.

You are still only seeing the tip of the iceberg.

Dig it. Institutionalized, authorized systematic inhumanity.

Remember. The Nazi's had their camps too. Bush's granddaddy financed the Nazi war machine. Nothing has changed.

YOUR LEADERS ARE LYING, AND THEY ARE NOW CAUGHT IN THEIR LIES.

    WHATCHA GONNA DO ABOUT IT?

What do you suggest? Aside from shouting it from the rooftops (whic I intend to do - already I am e-mailing the above link to everyone I know and to local news outlets) all that most of us can do is publicly protest and wait for the coming elections.

Order what? That when having to deal with a prisoner in such a way, to video it?

It seems like it was standard operating procedure. They do this in civilian jails for extractions of prisoners who don’t want to follow the rules. Seems like they were making the prisoners comply. Maybe that’s why they were chanting "Comply, Comply..." (as in other stories posted on this)

They also said the tapes existed, doesn’t seem they want to cover it up as such.

So what your telling me that this has to be torture, without seeing the video, no matter what the conditions were, that caused the "team" to enter the cell. (Sounds like Bushes story on Iraq's WMD.)

Remember. The Nazi's had their camps too.

Yes they did, but they didn’t put up with any shit. They just killed as many as they could. How does "The Nazi's had their camps too" relate to this story?

Also if david Icke is still a little out there for you, go to amazon and type in like "Bush Dynasty" i think is what the book is called.

Also, another good one, is "House of Bush, House of Saud"

    dont know authors. sorry.

Havent read either of them either, but I have heard both authors speak about their books and the content. Chilling.

Know your history, and truth shines like headlights in the road coming straight for your third eye.

What am I going to do about it?

I am going to start by talking. Spreading awareness.

This year I also plan to vote for the first time.

I am voting for Dennis Kucinich, not Kerry.

I believe if he was our president, it would completely change the direction of america, and the world.

If you are in a state where Kerry is most likely to win by a landslide, then by all means vote for Kucinich. I'd love to see the two-party system crumble. But if not, if you are in a swing state, a vote for Kucinich might as well be a vote for Bush. In those states, every vote will count.

As important as the Presidential race, we cannot forget the rest of the candidates. Kerry won't do us any good without a strong LIBERAL (I don't care what party - Democrat, Green, Communist, whatever...) presence in the legislature. THOSE are the people who we can count on to see to it the Kerry isn't just "same as the old boss." Otherwise, the best thing that we can count on from Kerry is placing non-right-wing-hard-liners (whew) in the Supreme Court - not that that isn't important, it is, but we really need more than that.

Ok, I worked along side an interrogator while I was in the Marines Special Forces (MSPF). I never witnessed him in action, but I did talk with him a lot. These guys are equipped with a ton of knowledge, tools, and techniques to get information from prisoners that save lives. The techniques are often painful to the prisoners, but are not intended to kill them. They have been perfected to minimize damage, and maximize effectiveness. This is necessary in war, and often very usefull when not.
What is happening in the prison pictures is different. These are not trained specialists, or interrogation techniques taught to them. It is sad that these "weekend warriors" that have been thrown into this war are doing these things, and are being allowed to do these things. I dont believe in this war, or stand with Bush (I voted for him before I realized what kind of person he is), and I hope this helps to bring him down, it is unacceptable.
Now they are taking away some of the techniques interrogators are allowed to use. Some of these things they are taking away are tools that save lives. They could possibly have led to the extraction of information from terrorists that could prevent things like 911 from happening if we were to capture the right people (Osama).
Those images are also making our military look horribly bad and unprofessional. Its is just a bad situation through and through and we need to get the hell out of there ASAP. Bush is an idiot, our military is spread to thin, and overused, and the US and our military is losing, or has lost the reputation we once had. Enough is enough.
