I think they might be the new sound because of their mixture of classical music,spoken word,techno,rap,rock and all that jazz. It really makes the perfect sound though a lot of people dont listen to them but i just wanted to know if anyone else shared my opinion because I've been wondering when the new sound of music would come and i think ive found it but yeah
Well, maybe. It's certainly the new sound of mainstream music. I think along with Gorillaz, Muse are equally discovering a new sound- this Neo-Classical Modern Rock thing, which is very inspiring. However, all these types bands are actually just incorporating established 'types' and putting them together to create something new. There aren't many bands pushing sound forward, but I do think Gorillaz are trying hard to be refreshing and I like that.
