the girls in my signature pic: an analysis and a poll

from a semi-objective point of view:
the girl on the far left is drinking her beer and paying little attention to the people around her

the girl in the middle has the glass to her lips, looks like she is about to drink or just finished drinking her beer, but is looking at the person with the camera, possibly flattered, distracted, or amused

the girl on the far right is not drinking, instead focussing on the person with the camera



from a subjective point of view:
the girl on the left is very indulgant, enjoying the little things in life

the girl in the middle wants to drink, wants to enjoy the little things, but is torn between self indulgance and pleasing others, between attention FROM others and attention TO herself

the girl on the right cares little for indulgance in the little things, the finer things, and more for attention, and what others think of her.






this isn't fair of me to make these judgments, but the picture is interesting in a number of ways, least of all the order of the girls and how they are behaving with their drinks.

so what do you read into it? and how do you relate to the girls in the picture?

i have had a lot of comments about my sig, especially the blonde on the far right. i would be lying if i said i thought she wasn't hot. and i'd be lying if i said the cute girls in the pic werent a big factor in my choice of a signature. and i'd be lying if i said i didnt think spaten kicks some fucking ass.:cheers2:

but i want to know what you think, beyond "that blonde is hot"

its true. but its also true i'm more intrigued by the girl on the far left, whose face is obscured by her enjoyment of her beer....

 

I like how the mugs are in descending order from left to right, or ascending order from right to left.

 

I like the way it's staged...full drink, lips almost touching about to drink, and last...the drink warm up.

I bet these girls look like hell in 15 years.

me, too. i found the pic in a google image search. i forget what i entered into the search, but i basically chose the picture because i thought it was hot and i like spaten, as far as general eurolagers are concerned.

but the way the glasses are arranged, the expressions on the faces, got me thinking eventually, and thats whats behind my post, and my thinking about them as an allegory/metaphor for life

Interesting...... I've just paid attention to the blonde with cleavage. The girl on the left could be drinking because she's camera shy and more introspective. It would help to see her face. Any more pics by chance?

Im with you, to me the one that seems more intriguing and even though I cant see her face, looks like it's pretty (she's actually the only one I find pretty).

 

nope, it was from google and i dont remember how i found it. it was some beer festival in LA or something, if i remember properly, even though you wouldnt guess it by looking alone.

 

I think you're on to something.
the girl on the left has her face obscured by the mug.
the middle girl is smirking rather coyly, but still has the mug to her lips.
the one on the right has just had a sip and is elated about it.

what does it all mean, though? it seems like a good basis for an oriental proverb.

 

Walking through town I will see a girl looking like the blonde one every five minutes. Almost exactly, same haircut, make up and blank facial expression. Only sexy in a stereotypical, culturally acceptable sense and I agree with Nesta's analysis that she is an attention whore.

I think your judgments are excellent Nesta, except that I think that a video would allow a greater sense of what is going on. A person is liable to show many subtle changes over time whilst chugging a beer. The beer chugging time freeze paradox theory supports this.

 

I think the blonde is cute but as you said, more concerned with vanity. That's okay though, I'd still hit it. :biggrin:

 

I sort of see the resemblance...mostly in the nose. I bet this girl is 100% less annoying.
