I don't know about inappropriate. She embodied a sense of hubris akin to that of Limbaugh. To me,there's something wonderfull when pompous know-it-alls fall from their own actions. And yeah--I woulda hit it too.

I don't necessarily think she was wrong to tell the caller that she was being sensitive but that she used the N word was over the edge. If she had of and just given that advice without using it, there would not have been a problem.

Why the caller would call her is beyond me as Dr Laura is known for her views and has been in the hot seat on numerous occasions for views on everything from cohabiting to homosexuality.

She is not known for being user friendly.
