I just thought of a great, forgotten, old comedy starring George C. Scott, also known for starring in Patton. The Flim Flam Man was made in 1967 about a southern con man and an awol soldier out to make some quick money. A great family movie that is a well written, intelligent, slap stick comedy that allows truely talented actors to show what they can do. I'm so tired of Will Ferrel and his juvenile humor. Unfortunately it seems to be hard to find. http://www.amazon.com/Flim-Flam-Man-George-Scott/dp/6301801725"]Amazon has a VHS version for $99.99 new! I also remember and love this old movie, probably George C Scott's most unconventional performance. I wish it was available on dvd or blu-ray. Sue Lyon, who played the girl in this movie, died in December (2019) at age 73. I remember Slim Pickens and Harry Morgan were also in it. I also vaguely remember the music and wish it were available on CD.
