    Hi again jmt :)

Since our bodies is who we are, and we are God's temple, God will not enter a temple that is defiled by serious sin such as adultery. -1 Cor 3:16-17, 6:18

For all that sin, and even those that don't, die to await for the resurrection and their is nothing in between - even Jesus went to the grave for three days. -Ro 5:12-14, 1 Cori 15:22, Ecc 9:5, 6, 10

What about tattoos? And what about cremation? Do we have to bury our body when we die?

You, on the other hand, seem to be Einstein himself.... although you seem to have some problems expressing yourself.

Why I post here? Why not?

What you speak of is part of the Mosaic law and Christians are not under that law and do not need to observe it.

The JWs dont do that transplant stuff. wouldnt donating organs to save someone life be a saintly thing to do?. Or is it cheating your way to sainthood. ??

I mean, if you was a total asshole, it would be ok if youi donated your organs.

    What?
As far as I know JWs have nothing against transplants, they don't do blood transfusions though, because that would go against the Bible admonition to "abstain from blood".

Is it really a sin to take donated blood?

I suppose it depends on who you ask. I know a JW, dude is quick on bible reference. I heard it from him. I never looked it up, because I assumed due to the blood, it was also forbidden.

The bible says "abstain from blood". What does that mean to you?

Vampirism? Well, the antonym for abstain is 'indulge' or 'use'...

As you point out; "there is no Biblical command pointedly forbidding the taking in of other human tissue" and since that is true, "this is a matter for conscientious decision by each one of Jehovah’s Witnesses" which is pretty much what I was saying.

"The Witnesses do not feel that the Bible comments directly on organ transplants; hence, decisions regarding cornea, kidney, or other tissue transplants must be made by the individual Witness."

(Acts 15:20) but to write them to abstain from things polluted by idols and from fornication and from what is strangled and from blood.

(Acts 15:29) to keep abstaining from things sacrificed to idols and from blood and from things strangled and from fornication. If YOU carefully keep yourselves from these things, YOU will prosper. Good health to YOU!”

(Acts 21:25) As for the believers from among the nations, we have sent out, rendering our decision that they should keep themselves from what is sacrificed to idols as well as from blood and what is strangled and from fornication.”

(Genesis 9:4) Only flesh with its soul—its blood—YOU must not eat.
