The majority of the stoners I know never got high on there first time, or didn't realize that they were high. I remember getting slightly stoned on my first time, but hardly enough to actually notice it. I guess it has something to do with something or other, but Im not sure. It all depends on stuff.
eh, some people say they do, but i dont think so. i didnt i mean - of course i felt DIFFERENT but it wasnt exactly what i would call 'stoned'. it took me a good 10-15 to actualy get numb,dizzy,tripping out stoned..and it hasnt been the same since! because before that one day i got 'really' stoned...all that ever happened 2 me was i felt lightheaded,hungry and giggly. but now its all different, but i guess it depends on each person?
Haha, my first time... I remember having a smile on my face that wouldn't leave for 30 minutes... we went bowling after smoking an eight together (myself and three friends) I was all giggley and couldn't hit a pin for shit. When I get around other people, it's better. I got more of a body high that time. I like disc golf and bowling while stoned, haha.
I really don't think you can't get stoned on the first try. I always see first timers when I go to Amsterdam all the time and they are easy to spot. They are the ones that are sat slumped in a coffeeshop with their eyes closed and unable to communicate, in their own world. Also, many actually pass out and are sitting on a chair outside the shop in a complete daze. Most though have drunk alcohol then bravado sets in then they attempt to try marijuana for the first time with obvious consequences. I've actually seen people fall over when they attempt to stand up, people fall off backwards on their bar stool, people piss themselves and some unable to walk or move. I've seen it all. Saying all that, my personal opinion is that it all depends on the strength of weed and whether it's smoked in a joint, pipe, bong or taken in space food. My first few months trying it, all I can remember is all the giggle fits with my mates and enjoying every single minute of it.
Fuck no, I got so stoned my first time. The people who dont get high are the ones who dont inhale then say "Awww, i never get high", They piss me off!
nah i think there is a special high that goes with the first time. ive noticed with a few people.. on the first time, people dont really get stoned. but they can often act slightly stoned. like, be rather overexagurating emotions or open about themselves. and be hungry. but all the while.. not really getting high. all, just vague. but.. not always a placebo, in fact often not because its usually people going 'what? i dont feel high' but are portraying the sympoms of this phemomenom. i remember i got really hungry, and ate so much (and was drunk too) that i chucked up in my sleep (good thing i sleep on my side when fucked). but the other guys said i was exibiting subtle stoned signs. and i think i was in that state im tlaking about for three times. the second two tiems though it was actually more like a high.. but not a high? like i didnt notice most of the effects on me. i didnt really feel stoned.. but in retrospect i was. you know? but i got a good time out of it still. also, stumbling on words is a common one for this phenomenom
oh yeh but some people jsut get stooooooned. i got one of my friends to that. but i communicated the act of smoking perfectly to him, and smoked a fair bit of awesome weed.
I got stoned my first time. I knew how to smoke and I had been around pot smoke for about a year before I started smoking. God knows I had plenty of contact buzzes before I tried myself. It was a different high though. I think that everyone gets stoned, but the feeling of being high is overrated to non-smokers so they think it's not working. People expect to be blown away by weed.
I have to agree with you, on my first time i was high. I notice alot of people do not inhale there first time, and alot of the time they do not.
