I, once again, have some explaining to do to my father like man.

 

I've never actually tried it, but I read one guy's recipes using acorns, and they sounded pretty good. I ate a piece of raw acorn once. Once was enough.

 

About the dentist?

My dentist is pretty charming, too. Well...I mean...ummm...entertaining.

I voted today...

 

I let a uniformed cop cut in front of me at the grocery store checkout today. His uniform was different looking than I'd seen before. Lots of stripes and stuff.

Then I noticed his badge had a star in it and it read: Marshall, Cave Creek, Arizona.

I've never seen a real Marshall, so I asked some dumb ass questions, of course.

I said: "I didn't know there were still Marshalls in Arizona."

He said: "Yeah, there's one in Tombstone also."

I said: "So, you like have power over all of Arizona, right?"

He said: "Yeah, all Arizona law enforcement officers do."

Me: "D'oh!" *facepalm*


Edit: He was a nice guy, not condescending or anything.
