The Fall was directed by Tarsem Singh and was released in 2006. I just watched it last night and greatly enjoyed the story and visuals. Overall it was a fantastic film and I was entertained throughout watching it. It's based in Los Angeles in the 1920s. A little girl and younger man meet each other in a hospital after his fall in a film as a movie stunt man and her falling and obtaining a broken arm. The young man uses the little girl to get what he wants, in exchange for a fantastic story based on the main character who is a mirrored figure of her late father. The film is the young man's story of 5 men on a mission to kill an evil ruler. I highly recommend with beautiful film. It made laugh, cry, and cheer for the heroes.
Agreed, it was a beautiful film... I was fascinated by both the story and the cinematography. My boyfriend said it was boring, but then again he likes Star Wars.
