Bird is legit obsessed. It's like the kid that can't have the toy he wants so he gets all shitty saying he didn't want it anyway.
I think it's funny bird disses on Americans so much because when I first noticed him around the forums I thought he was obnoxious so I assumed he must be an American teenager lol.he's OK though
That doesnt really give the true picture tho. 1stly u need to look at purchasing power parity. A proper definition, not at bullshit one. Everything America does has masses of taxes added, which the government takes, then sends round in another circle. So the ship that is invoiced at 2bn, only really costs a proportion of that. Because the State is paying itself. Additionally, those figs probably count active operations costs.Whereas no other superpowers have any ongoing invasion. Comparing hardware investment, Russia would be in a comparable field, and is probably superior in terms of nuclear ability. Altho ofcourse both sides lose there. China will also close the gap. Ultimately, America already knows that it cant treat major powers in the way its treated places in the sand.. Real winners in the Cold War? China and India. Tinpot countries in the 1990s. Superpowers now. Didn't spend zillions on arms R&D that gave little investment return.
It will fall of course, as do all 'empires'. It would be interesting to see the final collapse during our lifetimes but I doubt that. We will see the influence of China/India on the world grow in the next few decades though. I hope we can connect well with countries as Brazil (economically) which may cause us to keep some independance from asian countries. There surely will be a global powershift wether the USA falls or not. I kinda welcome it, although I'm not looking forward to China taking over America's urge to play world police.
