I cannot believe this - within a couple of hours, we will be in the eye of yet another hurricane. We still have power, which I do not understand, as it is really nasty out there. It won't last. I love the sounds of the hurricane - they are hypnotic - mother nature in its fury. It is the aftermath that I hate. No power is the worst! They will have water and MRE's available at Home Depot tomorrow, if you can make it there. It would be interesting to see what our boys in Iraq have to tolerate food-wise with these MRE's. I tried to take a photo for you all to see of what it looks like outside, but it is too dark, even though it is morning. The power will go off soon. Peace to you all!
Take care of yourself, Lucysky!! The hurricane is supposed to move fast, and be out of Florida by tonight, so that much is good... We get the remnants of hurricanes here in GA, and the smell of the tropical air can be so sweet...it's too bad that hurricanes cause so much loss of human life and property...they can be awe inspiring, for sure.
