I live in Spokane, WA. when I buy shrooms here 1 out of 3 times i bought nothing more than dirt, once poison! So last year I decided to study the varieties of mushrooms that I would actually want to ingest, mostly from books. It is coming time to go out and find some but I don't know what to look for specifically as none of the guides I read were comprehensive enough to tell me which mushrooms grow where I live and which ones I will never encounter up here! I am hoping someone might have a good idea of what I can find in the eastern washington area, what to look for and what to look out for! Thank you and happy hunting!
