    Soy based patty

Topped with lettuce grown where no little bunny rabbits can see so they dont get depressed they cant eat the lettuce, pickles that are sliced of course so they dont appear phallic and support the oppressive patriarchy, bean juice mayonnaise in case you dont get enough delicious soy in the patty, hyrdoponically grown tomatoes and onions so earth worms are free to live their lives as nature intended

Hopefully soon we will be able to wash it down with a Tofu shake, alongside a side order of cabbage or broccoli fries, but not white cabbage as that would be racist

Do you feel threatened by vegans?

    What's your "beef?"

World agriculture cannot support everyone eating meat. If you must go to McDonalds, a veggie/vegan burger sounds a good choice.

I like veggie burgers but I don't know if I would order one at McDonalds. I'm not vegetarian though; I just like veggie burgers I guess.

Not in a sustainable way. A big part of the industry is very destructive. Organic meat is the industry to support. I shit on vegan burgers too (in the proverbial sense..!)

Sluggy lettuce and soya protein in a cancer bread sandwich. I'd rather spend my money on real food, from an outlet that doesn't chop down rainforests to farm beef.

If people only ate the veggie burger they wouldn't chop down rainforests for beef.

If people ate less meat there would be less demand for meat.

Burger King has had a veggie burger for as long as I can remember. I'm surprised it took Micky D's this long to catch on.

I'm sure they've had a veggie burger in the UK for as long as I've been veggie, but I stopped eating there when I turned veggie 20 years ago.

Yeah, same, although I've only been veggie for half that amount of time. I just haven't eaten there because the food is icky. I think the last time I had the pleasure of dining at BK was when a friend's family took me out to dinner on some day trip and we went there.

Anyway, I saw it advertised that MacDonald's or some similar shithole had a quinoa and strawberry salad. What the fuck? To me, that was a sign of the end of the world as we knew it.

it never ceases to amaze me how many people don't seem to, or act like they don't, already know this,
but the burgers you get in any fast food place, are already 50/50 made out of something called 'texpro' which is an abreviation for textured vegetable protein, or in other words, soy flour!

yes, i'm talking about EVERY 'fast food' hamburger joint franchise!

and this isn't something brand new either. its been going since almost a decade BEFORE the first "where's the beef" commercial ever aired on tv.

If there was less demand for meat, less animals would be killed.
