Anonymously surfing internet is gonna be a thing of the past due to a new detection system developed by a phd Student.....
There will be ways around this too. Use a nonstandard stack or have your clock skew stutter randomly, but not enough to wreck IP.
The false positive ratio on clock skew measurements is prohibidly high. Also a software hack/patch can change your timestamps to make this totally useless.
On the other hand, measuring the clocking changes in place in a honeyd network are oftentimes enough to reveal them for what they are. (This still wont let you identify an indiviual computer out there)
I realy dont know what to say, there talking about logging all TCP outgoing activity, u cant alter that.....that goes through the ISP itself.<SKIMMED THE SITE>
I agree with you that on a honeypot the clocking changes can be measured but I just wonder if changing the timestamp iregularly or randomly and non standard stacking is enough ...
