The Drawing of a Kestrel

I'm drawing this one for my other pair of grandparents.
They cut out the picture of the bird and gave it to me without speaking words realizing that they were saying.. "Draw us this picture."

I really really do not like doing this type of artwork but I want to get this out of the way so that I may use the rest of my art supplies for what flows out of OneLifeForm.

Making that Red Tailed Hawk thread helped keep me motivated to get it done by keeping myself accountable to the beautiful people at The Hip Forums.

The outline is coming together. I confess that I was unfamiliar with what a kestrel is until I looked it up.
