Does anyone here honestly think if a guy started a thread asking how many pussy's have you had and said he has had 58 he would be praised and called a stud? I think not. He would get attacked and picked on by everyone on here. Do what you want in your life and stop worrying about what other people think about it. It is only wrong if you feel like it is. Yes men and women are different. Men have to work at having sex with many partners no matter how attractive they are. Women can have as much sex as they want with as many people as they want by simply making it known they are availble regardless of how attractive they are.

Thanks for justifying the logic of some of the most heinous criminals human history has produced.

My point is outside criticism, and the ability to hear your critics is important. It's just in this case, not much valid criticism exists in this private matter about how many partners one has had.

Actually, I see/saw that scenario a lot especially in school and a little bit with scorned lovers in college as well. Gossip is horrible, and sometimes it's not even true.

And I will also agree here with Cherea, that guys who get with a girl and then blab about it are assholes.

    Hi Cherea,

Well I'm definitely not one of those people who goes around showing off about their sex life. That's fucktarded. I do have ghosts of the mind that criticize me and lecture me. In that respect I don't know why I seek out assholes, no idea. I guess it's just a bad habit and residue from the past. But I distract myself from that which makes it the gift of a more interesting life.

I'm selective about who I fuck but not that selective about who I befriend. I want lots of friends for company and fun. I'm very social. But I keep my sex life private. So I hope that scenario isn't likely.

Okay let me rephrase that! Do what you like in your life as long as it is not hurting anyone else, but you! If others don't like it who cares. All that matters is how you feel about it.

What about the fact that the females of a species are generally responsible for genetic selection, of choosing which males have suitable genes to pass on to offspring to better their chances for success? There is no logic in that?

Think about it like borrowing money. Men have terrible credit, because we are always trying to buy, so we have to choose between not borrowing at all, or working with whatever banks will let us. Men have to work hard to get good credit. Women, on the other hand, have phenomenal credit, and can work with whichever bank they like. No one faults the person with bad credit for getting a high interest rate, it's all they can get. But a person with great credit who signs up for every credit card and payday loan just because they can, is not making good decisions. Soon enough, their value as a borrower will fall.

Actually, no horrible example. I've KNOWN TONS of women with HORRIBLE credit card debt, as have my parents when they were teaching me about finances, they had horror stories of people they knew regardless of gender who just fail with money.

It's also a horrible comparison, because to a point each individual can make a choice about how much to buy, borrow, and ultimately end up paying.

    Try again.

It's also a horrible example because men eventually try to date and marry, so they become selective. So that's like miraculously getting a low interest loan despite years of bad credit. Imagine the luck.

It's 2013 and not everyone wants children. Get with the program.

Good on ya, babe. I don't see how slut shaming could ever affect you, then.

For anything that's essential for the survival of the species, nature gives a reward. Obviously, the foremost requirement it that of the need to procreate. This is why the having sex is made so pleasurable. The clitoris has no other function than to give pleasure, and the glans, which is no more than a developed clitoris is essentially the same, despite the penis being multi-functional.

From this simple fact, it is clear that both males & females achieve the same degree of pleasure from sex, so in this day & age of supposed equality, why should it only be the male's domain to make the first move to sharing the pleasure experience?

Wow. Just, wow. You read my analogy and thought, "I know of women who have bad credit! I need to tell him to disprove his comparison!" Then say, try again?

Clearly I wasn't making literal, sweeping generalizations about both genders actual credit rating. It was a theoretical analogy based on the idea that men start out with bad credit and have to work on good credit, and how that relates to having sex with women. Men's buying power is low, because women know we will buy anything. When I say women begin with great credit, it's due to the fact that sex with them is to be pursued, and they have a ton of lending offers and get to be selective.

I also make a concession about how men can work to achieve good credit, and women can earn bad, but your second point for my horrible "comparison" is to say everyone can make their own choices????

Is English not your first language? Or where you too busy thinking of actual females with bad credit to provide a discredit to my analogy? I would "try again," but something tells me it would get lost as well.

Get to be selective? You mean HAVE to be selective, or are forced to be collective to avoid getting raped and blamed for it, dragged through the mud, harassed, mocked, lectured, and interrogated.

    That is not fair.

This is another part of feminism and The Slut Walk that seems to me like a big shadowboxing fest.

Who actually blames women for being raped? And what does it matter?

I know there has been a comment made by some random cop in the Toronto police force that ignited this whole thing...

But, I believe the rapist was still convicted, and said cop was released from the police force in spite of retracting his statement.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

Tons of people do. Why do you think it doesn't matter?

Who are those people? Can you give me a name? A public figure?

It doesn't matter because them's just words until a judge or jury refuses to send a rapist to jail on account of a woman wearing a mini-skirt.

Maybe there is a precedent I'm not aware of. But, until someone can point to something specific, I call it shadowboxing.

As far as I know, the burden of proof to convict a man of rape is actually lighter than other crimes and false rape accusations abound as a consequence.

    Just an example:
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-369262/Women-blame-raped.html
    http://www.staradvertiser.com/news/...n_in_Egypt_are_speaking_out.html?id=199985131

If you condone this behavior on the grounds that it's just words all those who believe women are to blame might then feel that they can jump any girl with heels and a mini skirt.

See, this is what I'm talking about...

Your examples reinforce my suspicion. One example is about Egypt, ok. I think we're talking western societies here, fair to say? It's not like Egypt is a champion of human rights for males either.

The first example cites research after research about attitudes, and is unable to cite a single court precedent of a rape conviction being overturned by blaming the female victim in the UK. Much less to establish it as a pervasive trend.

Meanwhile, we have things like the VAWA in the U.S. in which a man can be partially punished taking the woman's word at face value as sole evidence.

    Try harder.

Blaming and shaming are not behaviors, that's the point. It's an attitude. I say, punish the crime and let people have whatever attitude they want to have and say whatever they wanna say.

It's not like you can stop them anyway, they are rights protected by freedom of conscience and speech in western societies.

    Sticks and stones, buddy.

I just grabbed a couple articles I found .... ok no real research here but you can't deny the fact.

Remember the post I responded to: You asked who actually blamed women for rape. The question is not wether the perp gets convicted.

Attitude, behavior .... I'll stay away from the semantics.

But I'll tell you this: this free speech thing is always taken over the top.

Hitler gave a lot of speeches. And you know what came of that.

    Not to the victims.

You haven't produced a single fact.

I asked for a specific public figure.

Bingo! This is what all of this comes down to!

I find Cherea's views very empowering. It's a relief to know I'm not oppressed as a woman in real time. It's important to ask for real examples. No one actually represses my sexuality.

I wish other black people would follow suit. When I ask them for specific examples of how whitey keeps them down, they go ballistic. It's counter-intuitive. And then they wonder why they're not happy.
