man this band is so awesome jim morrison is a poetic genius. especially with the great musicians Ray Manzarek, Robby Kreiger, and John Densmore, this band really rips man.

nah jim was the real deal, even if u didnt like the shit he wrote, you gotta admit he was no wannabe.
i bet you dont even know what he wrote. robby did most of the writing on their last two albums, which are undoubtably their best. he wrote far less songs than all these "hippies" think he did.. strange days and waiting for the sun were mostly filled with his songs, and those albums suck. i enjoy showing off that i actually have taste.

the doors is just a few jazz nerds trying to be a rock band like The Seeds or The Strawberry Alarm Clock. Just a pop band. The only difference is that Jim Morrison died and created a legend. Thats all. They are just another band.
