Those in the U.S. can find solace in knowing that they are receiving a great deal.

Trump has given some U.S. farmers direct public assistance from repurposed tax money that would have assisted other Americans. This is to mitigate the damage caused by his easy-to-win trade wars that he says may require a second presidential term to win. He claims this is starting to make farmers great again after 15 years of decline, as if he solved their problems.

Trump started his trade war with the intent of making the U.S. steelmakers great again, which hasn't happened.

Americans will also get at least part of his proposed wall and pay the expense that Trump claims he will force Mexico to pay later.

With a deal like that, who needs the programs to provide medical care, education, and housing that, instead of building, Trump is sabotaging to avenge Obama for roasting him at the 2011 White House Correspondents' Association dinner?

    Yes, it's real.

It's a sorry state of affairs for the U.S. that Trump's antics have become so outlandish and psychotic that those who are still rational have to question whether the headlines about his latest ones are for real.

Some of the public have been so numbed by his self-parody behavior that they mistakenly think that valid news stories about him are fake and click-bait. They no longer care to know what he's doing and they ridicule the rational who still do as being overly concerned. They are a side-effect fringe benefit for someone like Trump. They complement his direct following who pledge allegiance to his outlandishness outright.

It's a testament of how the public can be subtly manipulated and unwittingly dumbed down to apathy by the shear lunacy of a person like Trump.

Some 40% of the population still insists he is being constructive, and no amount of brainwashing is responsible for their insanity. They have all chosen to do this to themselves and the rest of the country. That we can't even name a single reliable source of news belies the simple truth, we no longer have a functional government, and the worst lie of all is that we do.

Trump tends to be his own worst enemy with his mouth, particularly in the wake of tragic events which he doesn't know how to handle. The school shooting in Parkland, Florida in 2018 is an example Trump's handlers issued him cue cards during a public event with the students with notes such as 'I hear you'.

There are the usual self-aggrandizement Trump remarks, such as when he would have run into the school and taken down the shooter himself. This is the same Trump who ran out of a room of one of his properties when he saw the blood of an elderly gentlemen who had fallen and struck his head on the floor.

If his handlers were judicious, they would make extra efforts to squelch him after tragic events which, admittedly, is no easy task.

Forty percent of the country still insists he is being constructive, while the rest still insist that voting for whoever advertises the most is a legitimate two party system. The chickenshit Libertarians running congress don't have the balls to impeach the man short of him releasing a porn video of him with his mother. He's being constructive doing exactly what he was elected to do, trash what little remains of our government, and I wish him all the luck in the world. Even the democrats would not impeach him, because he is the republican party's worst nightmare.

Donald Duck score one, American -10.

Free? So you're saying that doctors there work for nothing? Teachers work for nothing? Construction workers build houses for nothing? Wow, that's incredible!

Trump creates a stink wherever he goes.

Trump's Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and his Homeland Security advisor were involved in trying to cover up his mistake about Alabama.

It's consistent with his past behavior and reflects his pathology.

Trump got his now convicted and incarcerated personal attorney to pay hush money through a shadowy Delaware LLC to cover up a relationship he had with a porn star, which can also be construed as a campaign finance law violation.

He also had David Pecker of the National Enquirer burying unfavorable stories about him for many years using the underhanded catch and kill tactic.

Trump can't stand any comment that he perceives as being unfavorable about him. It calls into question how many times he may be doing this that for the moment may be going undetected like the Stormy Daniels incident did initially..

Commerce Chief Threatened Firings at NOAA After Trump’s Dorian Tweets, Sources Say

Commerce Chief Threatened Firings at NOAA After Trump’s Dorian Tweets, Sources Say

    excerpt:

"In the NOAA dispute, Mr. Trump has also enlisted his Homeland Security adviser to issue a lengthy statement defending him.

The dispute at NOAA is also one of several instances of the Trump administration taking actions that undermine scientific findings. In the past, administration officials have tried to prevent a State Department official from testifying to Congress on climate-change science, and have tried to make changes to the standards used in government climate-change reports in a way that makes the threat from global warming appear less severe.

Richard Hirn, general counsel for the National Weather Service Employees Organization, said what made the NOAA episode extraordinary, though, was that it was not part of an overarching policy dispute on a contentious topic like climate change. “This is just to cover up an embarrassing mistake the president made,” he said.

Mr. Hirn, who said he has worked with the agency through six administrations, added that, “Never before has anybody tried to politicize the weather in all the administrations I’ve worked with.”

Noah Bookbinder, executive director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a nonpartisan watchdog group, said that political appointees served at the pleasure of the president and the cabinet secretary and could be fired at will. But, he said, threatening to fire staff members under these circumstances “goes against the norms and traditions that have been important to the government and are important to a functioning democracy.”"

Donald Duck is merely focusing attention on how corrupt our government has become, providing every possible example.

Fox News poll: Trump disapproval rises to near record

Fox News poll: Trump disapproval rises to near record

    excerpt:

"The poll comes at a tense political moment following two mass shootings earlier this month, one of which appears to have been racially motivated.

Approval for Trump's response to the incidents is just 37 percent, and 46 percent said they believe his administration has made the country less safe from mass shootings.

Fifty-nine percent of voters in the poll say they are unhappy with the way things are going in the country.

The same proportion say the president is "tearing the country apart," compared to only 31 percent who say he is "drawing the country together." Two years ago, those numbers stood at 56 percent and 33 percent, respectively."

The assholes should have thought of that twenty years ago, when they decided to gerrymander the vote and destroy all of our constitutional protections. What the hell did they think was gonna happen when everyone starts voting for whichever clown screams the loudest?

Fuck America, they tip lousey as well as being officially poor white trash with money.

The Dems start an impeachment inquiry.
This is going to take four months.
They're going to sit down and decide if there is a bases for impeachment and on what charges.
If they decide Trump has committed impeachable offenses, they will draw up articles of impeachment, then the committee will vote on them, if they proceed, the full House will vote next.
If it passes the vote, he will be impeached and go to the Senate for a trial.

The first step...but it's loaded with ifs and buts.

They are just pouring the pressure on, hoping he cracks even more and does a press conference in drag. The last thing they want is to assassinate him now. He's the best thing to happen to the democratic party since the great depression.

I explained how to avoid your free limit on the Post two weeks ago VG.

And yes, three unamed sources. To avoid repercussions to the individual. An essential part of journalistic integrity that has existed for that past century.

VG makes light of sharpie gate because it's so silly and absurd, but that's exactly the point, that this president is silly and absurd and goes to great lengths, like altering official weather reports, just to cover up his stupidity and protect his ego

    Your man's a joke,VG

(And I already know you're just going to excuse it by saying he was just trolling so no need to say that now)
