Good point, Nose. As I understand it his order is for areas in Texas near the border, as in Brownsville, McAllen, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, etc. It could cover everything all the way to San Diego, Chula Vista? Maybe Mira Loma and Fontana? Trump hates Mexicans. Remember he said a Spanish judge who was born in Indianapolis wasn't good enough for him.

Trump may have lost his risky bet on Saudi prince Mohammed bin Salman
Analysis: With the prince now implicated in Khashoggi's death, Trump’s gamble on him and the Saudi regime may have backfired.

Trump may have lost his risky bet on Saudi prince Mohammed bin Salman

    excerpt:

"The United States has long turned a blind eye to Saudi Arabia’s repression at home and its intolerance of dissent to maintain a strategic alliance with the oil-rich kingdom. Trump, however, has cultivated Saudi Arabia to an unprecedented degree, blessing the 33-year-old crown prince’s ascent in the royal family and his crackdown on opponents and rivals, former U.S. officials and Western diplomats said.

“Every American president since FDR has courted the Saudis, but none of them have done it as avidly and crudely as Donald Trump,” said Bruce Riedel, a former CIA officer who served in the spy agency for 30 years.

In his first trip abroad as president last year, Trump made the unusual choice to travel to Riyadh, where he took part in a traditional all-male dance with the Saudi royals, swaying back and forth with a ceremonial sword in hand."

If Dems win the midterms, isn't that the unofficial end if the Trump experiment?

Basically, midterm results determine Trump's future.

About two weeks before midterm elections, Trump calls for a tax cut for the middle class that he claims will be ready just before November.

Trump says GOP working on tax plan for middle class - CNNPolitics

    excerpt:

"Washington (CNN)Republicans are looking into implementing an additional tax break for middle-income Americans ahead of the midterm elections, President Donald Trump said on Saturday.

Speaking to reporters after a campaign rally in Elko, Nevada, Trump said Republicans Rep. Kevin Brady of Texas and House Speaker Paul Ryan of Wisconsin are working on developing a "major tax cut for middle income people" in the coming weeks.

"If we do that, it will be sometime just prior, I would say, to November," Trump said."

Bolton's fingerprings are all over the INF pullout.

John Bolton pushing Trump to withdraw from Russian nuclear arms treaty
Exclusive: national security adviser recommends ending intermediate-range nuclear forces treaty over alleged Russia violations

John Bolton pushing Trump to withdraw from Russian nuclear arms treaty

    excerpt:

"Bolton, who has spent his career opposing arms control treaties, is seeking to shrug off the traditional role of national security adviser as a policy broker between the agencies, and become a driver of radical change from within the White House.

Former US officials say Bolton is blocking talks on extending the 2010 New Start treaty with Russia limiting deployed strategic nuclear warheads and their delivery systems. The treaty is due to expire in 2021 and Moscow has signaled its interest in an extension, but Bolton is opposing the resumption of a strategic stability dialogue to discuss the future of arms control between the two countries.

The US has briefed its European allies this week about the proposal, sounding out reactions. The briefing alarmed UK officials who see the INF as an important arms control pillar. The treaty marked the end of a dangerous nuclear standoff in 1980s Europe pitting US Pershing and cruise missiles against the Soviet Union’s SS-20 medium-range missiles."

I feel like President Trump is pulling out of the intermediate range nuke pact for completely political reasons. :poutingcat:
He wants to garner votes in the midterms because he's drowning with Kashoggi and his horrible immigration policy in the spotlight.

Not necessarily. He'll probably still be in office for the rest of the term. Since the Senate handles appointments, he can still pack the courts and put more foxes in charge of the hen house. Tax cuts would be a problem, since revenue bills must originate in the House. The House can impeach him, but that would be just bringing the charge. If Republicans continue to hold the Senate, which is likely, they'll never convict. And there'll be almost a two month gap between the election and the changing of guard in Congress--enough time for him to do some real damage, like appoint a new Attorney General and shut down the Mueller probe.

For the last 28 years, I have been saying it is time for regime change in Saudi Arabia. The Saud Organized Crime Family needs to be rounded up and put in a prison with out toilets or running water, so the tyrants can wipe their rear ends with bare hands and coarse desert sand.

The House can still go after him after the Democrats take the Senate in 2020, and criminal charges will still stick after January 2020. He has taken some of our government, not all of it. A stout Democrat Senate could boot out Kavanaugh and Gorsuch for ethics violations, as in service to a political agenda. For the last 240 years our courts have stayed away from political questions. In Trump world, our courts have become political tools.

Global Warfare: “We’re Going to Take out 7 Countries in 5 Years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan & Iran..”
Video Interview with General Wesley Clark

    Democracy Now 2 March 2007

    excerpt:

    "Originally published in March 2007.

    GR Editor’s Note:

This interview serves as a reminder regarding the diabolical timeline of America’s hegemonic project.

It is worth noting that 6 out of these 7 countries (with the exception of Lebanon) identified by General Wesley Clark “to be taken out” are now the object of President Trump’s ban on Muslims’ entry to the US: Iraq, Syria, Somalia, Libya, Sudan, Iran and Yemen.

All of these countries are on the Pentagon’s drawing board. These countries have been directly or indirectly been the object of US aggression. (M. Ch. GR Editor)"
