    Ah, yes, its coming back:
Trump to Breastfeeding Mom: 'You're Disgusting' Donald Trump Calls Clinton's Bathroom Break 'Disgusting'
Washington Post: Breaking News, World, US, DC News & Analysis
Of course there was also his comment that Megan Kelly might be having her period.Trump draws outrage after Megyn Kelly remarks - CNNPolitics
I'm not the only one to notice this. Theology professor Susan Thistlethwaite comments: "It is now strikingly obvious that bodily fluids, especially women’s bodily fluids, drive Donald Trump up the wall".Trump and Bodily Fluids: There's a Theology for That | HuffPost She remarks:" All of this revulsion is rooted in contempt for the body and its functions; women’s bodies are, well, so bodily obvious. Their bodies make milk and blood, as well as urine and stool. All this evacuation comes to symbolize the deep contempt for the body, sexuality and materiality that, at the end of the day, is a fear of death, the ultimate outcome of materiality."

In psychology, exaggerated disgust with bodily fluids and functions is interpreted as a means of repudiating desired objects, such as a mother's breast or feminine secretions, perhaps a reaction to breast witholding. "Disgust--the forgotten emotion of psychiatry".
Phillips ML, Senior C, Fahy T, David AS, May,1998. British Journal of Psychiatry.172::373-5; or a psychological mechanism for rejecting our animal natures. Tybur JM, Lieberman D, Griskevicius V ( July, 2009) "Microbes, mating, and morality: individual differences in three functional domains of disgust",.Journal of Personal and Social Psychology, 97(1):103-22; Fessler D. M. T., Navarrete C. D. (2005). The effect of age on death disgust: challenges to terror management perspectives. Evolutionary Psychology. 3, 279–296; Rozin P., Haidt J., McCauley C. (2008). "Disgust". In Handbook of Emotions 3rd ed.(Lewis M., Haviland Jones J., Feldman-Barrett L., eds..),, New York, NY: Guilford Press, pp. 757–776.
A number of studies suggest that some forms of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) can best be understood as disorders of the disgust system.Olatunji B. O., Lohr J. M., Sawchuk C. N., Tolin D. F. (2007). " Multimodal assessment of disgust in contamination-related obsessive–compulsive disorder". Behavioral Research. Therapy Journal. 45, 263–276.

So how does this relate to politics? Researchers are able to predict with 95-99% accuracy how liberal or conservative a person is by measuring reactions to an image eliciting core disgust, such as bodily waste.
Disgust – how Donald Trump and Brexit campaigners win votes
Liberal or conservative? Reactions to disgust are a dead giveaway

Conservatives are distinguished from liberals, among other things, by their higher propensity for disgust.
Are You Easily Disgusted? You May Be a Conservative

Inbar, Pizarro, Iyer and Haidt,(2011),"Disgust Sensitivity, Political Conservatism, and Voting"
Social Psychological and Personality Science, pp1-8.
Trump's comments about Megan Kelly's blood and Hillary's urine may have struck a cord with conservative voters, especially the males who make up a disproportionate chunk of his base. " It was another way of saying: Hillary urinates, she is disgusting , don't vote for her." Mahdawi(2016). Disgust – how Donald Trump and Brexit campaigners win votes

Babylonians will spout gibberish for hours on end just to avoid stating the obvious, chickens are the masters of acting indignant, precisely because the lights are on, but nobody is home. Admitting they organize along the lines of brainless chickens pecking away at each other and acting indignant is not something that comes easy to Babylonians. I told someone once, that I would be here to give them therapy when academics finally admit they are doing all the talking and nobody is listening.

I was metaphorically speaking. None of the Trumps live in caves and need to hunt for warmth and food......as many don't and who make the choice to just love to kill things, as much as they want to justify it.
I was not insulting primitive man's basic roots for survival, either.....but some have evolved beyond that already.

I realize there are still pockets of primitive people in the world.

I may lash out with words of anger, but at least i never take it out physically on any living thing. Some people do that . It gives them some false sense of power, I think.....

Yeah and we all take his word for it right?

Because politicians in general and Trump in particular always tell the truth.

    Pffft.

Lighthizer and Ross are two main players behind Trump's steel tariffs.

Tariffs would aid steelworkers at expense of far more others

Tariffs would aid steelworkers at expense of far more others

"In 2002, President George W. Bush imposed tariffs on steel imports to help a struggling steel industry. A study sponsored by steel-consuming companies found that those tariffs cost 200,000 American jobs by driving up the costs for companies that buy steel and forcing them to lay off employees.

As of mid-2017, the U.S. government was imposing 149 different restrictions on steel imports.

Trump’s trade team is stocked with veterans of battles over the steel trade. As a trade lawyer, U.S. Trade Rep. Robert Lighthizer represented steel companies. As a private investor, Commerce Secretary Ross bought and revived troubled steel companies.

Yet previous trade sanctions have failed to stop a steady drop in America’s steel jobs. When the 2002 tariffs were imposed, for example, U.S. steel companies employed 169,000 workers. They’ve since lost 32,000 jobs, a 19 percent drop.

“The steel tariffs and quotas have never done much to protect the industry in the long run,” says Kent Jones, an economist at Babson College and the author of “Politics vs. Economics in World Steel Trade.” ″Employment in the industry has declined constantly.”

The culprit might not be foreign competition. A bigger threat is technology. Allan Collard-Wexler of Duke University and Jan De Loecker of Princeton have found that steel jobs vanished because of the rise of a new technology: Super-efficient mini-mills that make steel largely from scrap metal."

As he often does, Trump stumbled again on his attempt to make Tom Marino his drug czar. Marino later stepped down.

You got it, Trump & CO are all about power...power over people, animals, natural resources, national treasures. By power over people I mean Mexicans and Muslims alongside of US citizens. He ran with Pence to present an image of himself as a conservative Christian. By now, everyone knows what kind of fake Christian he is in real life.

A bill introduced by Bernie Sanders, Mike Lee, and Chris Murphy to end US military support of the Saudi led Yemen "conflict" (war) was voted down today 55 - 44

In Tight Vote, Senate Bucks Bernie And Allows U.S. Role In Yemen War To Continue | HuffPost

I'm putting this here because the Trump administration has strongly supported military support of Saudi Arabia (because he's sooo anti establishment, right?)

But I do want to point out this why I'm so disillusioned with the American political system in general and didnt want another neo-liberal like Clinton either. Particularly with our foreign policy , I dont think it matters who is in power. American foreign policy is standard. Support the rich Saudis and bomb people in poor middle eastern countries.

Makes me sick. But 55-44 isnt an overwhelming defeat so thats promising, I guess

Simply not true he's on the poorer end of "rich" and has done a great job of pretending. But a little research will tell you that he looses money hand over fist. He just has enough for it not to matter. He's not a intelligent businessman he comes from money so he can loose money. Had he done nothing but sit on his dad's money he would be wealthier today than he is from all his casinos and steaks.

I agree that those numbers aren't bad, but it's a little embarrassing that so many democrats want a continued presence. I wonder... what do they hope to accomplish by continuing their presence in Yemen.

You couldnt be more wrong. I would guarantee you i have a smaller eco footprint than you.

Whats go8ng on in Alaska? Oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge? Its probably not going to happen anyway because its not economically feasible.
