Wisconsin Elections Commission finds no wrongdoing by fake electors

"Joe Biden beat Trump by nearly 21,000 votes in Wisconsin. Those results were upheld by a recount and court rulings, and the state's 10 Democratic electors gathered in the state Capitol on Dec. 14, 2020 to formally send the state's Electoral College votes to Congress.

The same day, 10 Republicans got together in the Capitol to do the same. They signed official-looking paperwork claiming to be the state's true electors and sent it to Congress, the National Archives and a federal judge.

Republicans took similar actions in six other states that Trump lost. Like their counterparts in Wisconsin, the Republicans in four of those states claimed to be the actual electors. The Republicans in the two other states said they were submitting the paperwork in case a court later found them to be the rightful electors."

 

Mike Pence anticipated the antics of Trump and read a carefully worded statement in Congress on Jan. 6 that said only legal electoral slates would be accepted for counting.

The statement was to prevent a Trump-manufactured contention over multiple electoral slates from the same state submitted to Congress that would create confusion and send the issue back to the swing states that he lost with the hopes that he would somehow retroactively 'win' those states.

• One count of ethnic intimidation, a two-year felony
• Two counts of telecommunications services – malicious use, a six-month misdemeanor

Bob Spindell was a fake elector and on the commission. He acquitted himself of wrongdoing.

He was acquitted by an all-mustache jury.

Another featured a conversation between Carlson and retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor, who predicted Russia would "annihilate" Ukrainian troops if they did not surrender."

Trump pick in Georgia governor race not drawing donor flock

Trump should be backing governor Kemp. But he isn't, because Kemp wouldn't overturn the 2020 election for him in Georgia.

He's backing Georgia U.S. Senate special election 2021 loser Perdue, whose Trump-induced loss flipped control of the Senate back to Democrats.

FBI: Arizona man who assaulted officers at Jan. 6 Capitol riot arrested in Tucson

"TUCSON, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) - An Arizona man who federal authorities say participated in the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol and assaulted officers has been arrested in Tucson. According to the FBI, 50-year-old Jacob Zerkle from Bowie, Arizona is criminally charged in D.C. for his role in breaching the U.S. Capitol building on Jan. 6, 2021, while Congress was in the process of counting electoral votes for the presidential election.

Federal court documents state on that day Zerkle fought with multiple officers on the West Lawn from the Metropolitan Police Department who were trying to protect Capitol grounds. Authorities say Zerkle threw several punches at one officer, pushed at least one other officer, and grabbed another officer’s baton. The officers were trying to get to the Lower West Terrance to reinforce other officers there.

Zerkle was charged with assaulting, resisting, or impeding officers, civil disorder, and engaging in physical violence in a restricted building or grounds. Zerkle was arrested in Tucson and made his initial appearance Tuesday afternoon with the Federal District of Arizona. The FBI Phoenix Field Office’s Sierra Vista Resident Agency and FBI Washington Field Office are investigating Zerkle’s case."

Patriot, Indiana woman arrested in Capitol riot

"WASHINGTON (WISH) — Federal authorities have arrested a Patriot, Indiana, woman for her alleged role in the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021.

The FBI says Nancy Barron, 46, surrendered to federal agents this morning on four charges related to the siege at the Capitol, which happened while lawmakers were attempting to certify the 2020 presidential election results.

Federal investigators say Barron contacted them on her own on Jan. 7, 2021, to say she had been inside the Capitol.

The FBI says it found multiple photos and videos of Barron inside and outside the building."
