Ok one of the things about Trump’s time in office has been the rise in the stock-market it’s even been pounced upon by Trump and his supporters as something to praise Trump for.

But is this market rise seems to be based on hope, the hope that Trump and the Republicans can bring in the tax cuts that would vastly increase the profits of the corporations been traded.

In other words it’s a speculative bubble.

Now I’m not so sure Trumps Cut Cut Cut bill this is going to happen, several Republicans seem not to like it and if the market loses the hope then the bubble will burst.

[edit] What is needed is real investment rather than speculative ‘bets’ I mean we need real infrastructure spending (opposed to ineffectual tax breaks) that both the left and right want to happen.

It could be used to drive growth a lot more effectively than just giving already wealthy individuals and entities more money.

 

Carbon MOnoxide is not the same as Carbon DIoxide. One is a normal part of nature one is not. What a stupid women.

 

Dude, your party is filled to the brim with corruption, and you’re still unwilling to take the trash out. Even if it means thwarting your chances of winning new seats for the democrats in the 2018 election.

You can blame Russia all you want. But it wasn’t Russia who rigged the election against Sanders, and other terrible things.

The democrats have less than 3 years to clean up their image. And they shouldn’t rely exclusively on Trump to fuck things up.

Trump declaring it to be fake news. It was really her index finger praising Trump as number one.

Trump incessantly denying claims that his hand and middle finger are smaller than hers,

Trump banning the use of middle fingers against him as part of an executive order prohibiting kneeling during the national anthem.

Putting middle-finger people in a national registery so that they can be monitored by the government for potential terrorist activity.

Trump didn't like the idea of wind turbines spoiling the view from his golf course in Scotland and has been taking legal action since 2011 in various courts (he battled the Polish construction workers case for 15 years before finally giving in and settling). Using similar bullying tactics, he didn't like the looks of a house, built a wall around it, and billed the owner.

Trump used a similar bullying tactic when he wanted to buy the Mar-a-Lago mansion. He threatened to erect a building to block the ocean view from Mar-a-Lago to discourage people from buying it so he could get it for a lower price, and it worked.

Concerning the house in Scotland, he actually went ahead and built a wall around the house to obstruct the owners view of the ocean.

 

Yess, and well the stock market valuations always has a large speculative component. This bubble features exuberance that regulatory overeach has been leashed.

and Yes, we need a tax code that does not reward real estate quite so much. Perhaps more reward for actually carrying a payroll instead of carrying a portfolio of properties.

 

This is the kind of thing that really gets me

Since January I have heard many in the peanut gallery bitch about how everyone just needs to shut up and give Trump a chance to do his job - but he has already done plenty as a businessman to prove he is a man severely lacking in moral character and nothing but a con man. I don't need to give him a chance as president because I already know precisely what kind of person he is.
