I've known this for a long time.

I've known right from the beginning that it's just more propaganda from the Democrats in their feeble attempt to get sheeple to vote for Bush's cousin Kerry.

So many people buy into this propagandist disinformation so easily, without even thinking about it or looking into it themselves.

Anytime someone tells me that a vote for Nader is a vote for Bush, I just ignore them. There is no getting through to some people when their minds are so warped by the garbage the mass media feeds them, which they eat right up.

Unfortunately, it is kind of true, but that's what you get for having an undemocratic, two-party system.

NOFX is cool, but i wouldn't go to them to figure out my political beliefs, they just believe EVERYTHING the liberals say and hate everything the Conservatives say, that's a bad way too look at things.

I don't agree with them nearly on everything, but I defiently think Nader hurts the Democrats. I'm aware that you cant get all your information from one source.

Nothing I didn't know before ......I already knew this...etc...etc...etc...ad nausem

    lol.

Is there a person behind these sound bites or are these automated? Ha. Boy, you are just always a step ahead aren't you?
What do the people around you think about your extremist (and arrogant) views? Maybe you should expand your social associations and talk to some people who aren't ultra-paranoid. Now, there's nothing wrong with healthy skepticism, but you take it too far and your pretentious, autocratic delivery discredits your points.

The Republicans have contributed to Nader, now why is that? Sure Democrats speak out against him, but why wouldn't they? A vote for Nader is not a vote for Bush directly, but it is not a vote for Kerry either! If Kerry doesn't get enough votes who gets elected? If you vote Nader then you can't possibly have mush of a problem with Bush.

Actually, Nader was threatened with arrest for showing up to view the 2000 debates with a valid ticket. Some democracy.

I am not paranoid or an extremist. I am not an idiot American who has been completely conditioned by the mass media either. I read things other than Time Magazine and Newsweek. Maybe you should try doing some of the research I have over the past year or so, and maybe you'd feel differently.

You're shooting your mouth off about something you know nothing about. I have done fairly extensive research into deeper politics, and I am sure you haven't. To you, politics go as far as what you read in mainstream publications and hear on the government-controlled news networks.

You are extreme. You cannot even reason. A vote for Kerry is reasonable. You cannot blame the voters for the lack of choices. It is immoral to vote for Bush. It is immoral to not vote Bush OUT. The previous will only be accomplished by Kerry. Kerry will be different, significantly enough to warrant a vote from everyone who sees the very obvious evil of Bush.
    Do you value your rights?
Maybe you're a religious nut, but I'm not. I don't want a theocracy. Do you?
What mainstream publications do you suspect I get my info from? What news networks? (I don't watch TV). I don't read Time or Newsweek. Only independent media sources on the net and Mother Jones.

Voting for Kerry isn't reasonable. If all those "anybody but Bush" people would all vote for the third party candidates everyone likes but don't want to waste votes on, we would all be good. And ya know, it may take one or two elections (maybe more) to get a strong third party presence in this country, but how could you think it's not worth it?

Exactly Sera, Why Do all of these people that hate Bush want to vote Kerry? I was under the Impression that ever since GWB got into office, the Democrats have been more organized than ever, if that's true, Why can't they all band together and vote for Nader, and Get him elected, but NO, they decided to vote for a pro-war, skull and bones canidate. I hate when everyone says "I'm voting for kerry because he is the only one with a chance of winning", that's because people like you are controlled by the media with their false "polls" to think that, if everyone was able to come together and flush that Corporate Servant Kerry out and all vote for Nader or Kucinich, things WILL change. A vote for Kerry is a vote for another shitty, war torn 4 years. I hate when people say your voting for more war if you vote for Bush, there will be just as much war with Kerry, he stands with all the same foreign policies as Bush, how can the American people be so brainwashed to have to choose between two canidates who have few differences.

    Peace and Love,
    Dan

I do feel bad for the first third party candidate that gets in, though. They will have BOTH dems and repubs to make their life hell.

I have always thought that the BEST way to get a thrid party presence in place is to fill them up in congress and senate first. Everything else will be easy-breezy.

So HOW am I extreme? All I want is a government that works for the people and adheres to what our founding fathers proposed many many years ago. To me, that is not extreme - it is nothing other than completely reasonable.

Why can't you just admit that you love fascism. Kerry supports the Patriot Act and the War on Terrorism, which to me is far more dangerous than who has health care and who goes to bed hungry at night. If you think that the impoverished are suddenly going to be back on their feet again if Kerry is elected, well... you're even more dense than I previously thought.

You're buying right into their nonsense. They're trying to sway impressionable, easily-bought people like you, and it's working!

That's nothing more than your own opinion. I certainly am not going to go along with that. I don't vote for puppets who are nothing more than corporate, globalist shills.

There isn't really a lack of choices. It's just that people are not open to what's out there. Again, it's because of the mass media.

How is it any less immoral to vote for Kerry? They both have the same foreign policy and they love the Patriot Act! Both are going to continue with the murdering and imperialism overseas!

    Why do you support mass-murderers?

Why must I be forced to choose between Hitler and Stalin?

Well, sorry, but it doesn't look like he's going to win. Even next to Bush the guy looks like a total fool. It's pretty pathetic that Kerry can't even beat Bush, OF ALL PEOPLE. He's getting crushed in the polls.

Yes, and this is exactly why I am voting for neither of them.... BECAUSE I VALUE MY RIGHTS! MORON!

A president who supports the Patriot Act obviously does not care about rights! Duh!

No, I am actually an Atheist, though I certainly respect people's right to practice their religion. I am not a nazi.

You know, I voted for Nader last election because I hated both Bush and Gore, and was just hoping to get another recognized party in place. Competition leads to improvement, right?

Little did I know that here in North Carolina, a vote from me, an independent voter, didn't count. If you didn't vote for a Republican or Democrat in the last election, your vote meant nothing, at least in NC.

I would *love* to know if this has changed... I know the Green party collected enough petitions to get a write in for this election, but I don't know about others. The depths of research you have to do to keep yourself informed is mind boggling.

Even though Edwards is from North Carolina, I got my money on Bush winning it with no problem again.

I totally agree with you! I just hope that if I vote for somebody other than Kerry that my vote will actually count.
