When Reagan died years ago a news columnist I read every week wrote something negative about the man, but at least he wrote his views out in an essay. I was young in the 80s and the only thing Reagan meant to me was the creation of the D.A.R.E. program. I've since looked back into history and I know why figures like Reagan and the iron lady aren't bastions of awesomeness. The younger and more impressionable readers here may not know the story though and if you're gonna make a thread about it you need to elaborate why we should be dancing in the streets. Just my take.
