Anyone else find this movie extremely spiritual and uplifting while still being comical? I loved it. Especially the scene of the Indian funeral with Strangers by The Kinks playing. Gave me goosebumps.
Kinda a wacky movie, but I thought it was really entertaining and comical at times. I forgot about this move. I would definitely see it again. I love the chemistry between the 3 brothers...
I loved this movie! Loved the soundtrack as well. It was made by the same guy who made the Royal Tennembaums, which is one of my favorite movies ever and I saw a lot of similarities in style, actors, music, etc. The plot was completely different though. Both are totally amazing.
I'm glad you brought this up. My two brothers and I took a 2000-mile road trip together -- the first time we'd done anything like that since we were boys -- and made a point of watching it in a hotel room along the way. It was great! Thoughtful, colorful, and darn funny. It seems to me that there was a "postscript" piece that I'm not sure was shown in the theatres. Anyone recall?
