I know this thread's been dead since September, but I thought it best to resurrect one rather than create multiple threads on the same topic.

So I just bought it. I'm reading through the first chapter now. Who else has read it, and what do you think>

I got it for Christmas and it's a great book. Hilariously funny and intelligently written too.

It IS hilarious. My mom bought it but was disappointed in the format. I think she was expecting another book of essays a la Al Franken. But it's presented like it's a textbook, which to my mind is such a creative option and opens up so many comedic possibilities. To be trite - it rocks. Jon Stewart must have my baby.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Especially funny was the periodic "were you aware?" graphics. There was one that said "Were you aware?" The phrase "Did you know?" is under copywright by a rival publisher.
Recently the supreme court made it illegal to execute minors. This is following a similar ruling considering the mentally retarded. John Stewart said on the Daily show, that even after he published nude pictures of them, the Supreme Court is still looking after his core audience.

The whole layout is like a text book. There are even faux activities like you'd see in a classroom.
