anybody? they are the best band i came across i guess, Robert Smith is beautiful!

 

Are they that 80.s band with the synth.. and stuff. I have one of those albums.. Ya they are pretty good.. They were the original people who wrote the song love song that 311 redid I know that.. Ya his stuff is depressing to me.> Deep stuff. Good though.. Not really my cup of tea but sometimes I break it out and give it a listen to. I hear they have a new album out.. ANy good?:

Man, the Cure are awesome. The Lovecats and Killing an Arab are just fuckin great.

 

yeah i dont understand how come people say they're really depressing. they have a lot of up beat dancey songs too. morissey to me is a bit more depressing than robin.

 

The Cure are quite good but I have to be in the mood for them. Not sure what that mood is though....

I think they're really underrated. Head on the Door and Pornography are great albums. I started listening to the Cure again a few months ago, and I was surprised to find out some of their songs, particularly the early ones, sounded kind of psychedelic.

 

i grew up on the cure. it's so cute that they're back 'in' now.

ps, robert smith has always been beautiful with his big messy hair and smeary makeup.

 

---They are one of those bands who I like most everything through 1990, I don't think their newer stuff is bad, just a little more boring.

I love the b-sides from the first half of their career.


I heard they were great this summer on the Curiosa tour...wish I would have seen it

 

I love the CUre, but I have to be in the right mood for em, plus got burnt out on em last year.
