if the Steelers find someway to get some consistency and make it into the playoffs, they COULD pull it off

but as much as I hate it, if not, (which is much more likely) I'm gonan be rooting for the Bengals...

A stunning turn of events yesterday for my Steelers with a win against (overrated) Chicago and the Chiefs and Chargers both losing. If the playoffs started today Pittsburgh would be playing at Cincy. Next time, the offense isn't going to throw the goddamn game away.

Cincy continues to impress, though. Palmer looks like the real thing and they have a very good running game. But Chad Johnson is going to get too big for his britches real soon and the defense is still a little young (which means they'll be even better next year).

Actually, I misspoke above. The Steelers would lose a 3-team tiebreaker to Kansas City. Still need the Chiefs to lose one more (and they play the Bengals on 1/1). But with a 6th seed in the AFC, the Steelers would more than likely face Cincy (the likely 3 seed) in the Wild Card round.

I am a Kansas City fan myself (being a native to the KC area) and i must say i do admire the Bengals. But i love all the shitty teams for some reason. I have always had KC no.1 but ive always liked the Lions and Redskins. Theyve been pretty bad for some time now, but finally the skins are doing better. I was really suprised to see the Bengals doing so well this season. Palmer is everything to that team i think. He looks like a star. Fuckin goddamn Dallas fucking Cowboys might have killed our playoff hopes. We played absolutely horrible tho. Surtain missed a taylor-made interception in the endzone that would have locked the game for KC but he dropped it, leading to the goal line TD from the holding of Derrick Johnson. THEN we drove 60 yards in 16 seconds only to have our infamous blown kick to save the game. BUT Jax and SD both lost, so thats a plus. We need PIT to lose but i really like Roethlisberger and their entire organization for that matter. I think PIT is a world class football team that deserves to go far. If there is anyone that can beat Indy its gonna take a good D and a good running game (PIT). Indys D is wayyyyy overrated if you ask me. Theyve only had to play 3 or 4 games with an offense ranked higher than 20th. If you watched them play the Rams earlier, they couldnt stop em till Bulger gor hurt. And CIN scored like 40 points on em earlier. FUCK THE COLTS

yeah, it is normal. teams have their ups and downs. dallas went 1 and 15 one year and a couple years later went to the super bowl twice. fuck the bills went to the super bowl four damn years in a row. they suck now. (dont even say that they sucked then, just cuz they lost all 4 bowls., they had to make it there first). The raiders were in the super bowl a couple years ago and now look at them. so it is very normal for teams to be good and then bad and then good again. players only can play for so long.

Forgot about the Panters to. Look at their 1-15 record or whatever, then they go to the bowl against the Pats.

P.S. I think the Bills are a great team now. (Atleast when they are healthy and all players.)

Was this part of a conference call to San Diego or something because they sure rattled Manning yesterday.

The Bills do, in fact, suck now. No offensive line, no defensive line, a mouthy blowhard at RB (who can definitely play, but how long before he becomes a lockerroom cancer?), and much front office turmoil.

Cincy is on top now, but I'm REALLY hoping for a rematch with Pittsburgh in the first-round of the playoffs. The Steelers cannot be in a 3-way tie with Jacksonville and SD and make the playoffs. So, they've got to be one game back from JAX (or one game ahead somehow) and either tied or ahead of San Diego. Yeesh!

    Stay tuned.
