    A much-needed thread for bread. lol

    I will add my own recipes when sober. lol


    Milk Bread

    ·Yield: Makes two 9x5" loaves
    Soft as clouds, white as snow, Japanese milk bread is the tender everyday loaf we want to bake right ...
    Ingredients
    • 2 ¼-oz. envelopes dry yeast (about 4½ tsp.)
    • 720 g (5⅓ cups) bread flour
    • 34 g (3 Tbsp.) sugar
    • 14 g (1 Tbsp. plus 2½ tsp. Diamond Crystal or 1 Tbsp. Morton) kosher salt
    • 34 g (2 Tbsp. plus 1½ tsp.) unsalted butter, room temperature, plus more for bowl

    They were all outa bread when I went to the shops earlier....I may need to learn me some bread making skills!

    I don't wanna be constipated thank you.
    Soft wholemeal with a crusty crust and butter.

    Beer bread mmmmmmmm....I've made chocolate bread before, it came out all claggy choc style but I kinda like it that way!

    Both, it depends on what you are making.

    For instance, unbleached all-purpose is most suitable for soft varieties such as white sandwich bread, while bread flour works best for rustic or hearth loaves. Butter and egg-rich breads (such as brioche) can benefit from bread flour in the lower range, such as Gold Medal's Better for bread flour.

    But I am trying my best to make it.
