I have come upon a new behavior I had not before noticed. People of varying intelligence, races, genders, and levels of consciousness have exhibited something I identify as The B-Factor. This curious phenomenon is one's ability to recognize a problem, yet rather than facing the difficult (or not) task of solution, aver the solution as if one were running swiftly round a square block. Every time a possible solution is present, Subject rather than facing what I can only presume as horror of whatever Subject has designated as "Security Blanket" behavior, turns away from the solution, only to eventually find itself back to its original position, exasperated and exhausted, and no further to achieving its goal. I think people want things (goals) but are incapable of achieving goals for fear of forsaking some level of comfort. Yet, people will express distress over seemingly running but never getting anywhere. This Security Blanket behavior becomes perpetual as long as the true nature of the behavior is never approached. Perhaps people are still expecting a parent figure to "tell them what to do"? After childhood, the adult replaces the parent figure with Supervisor, Manager, Governor, President, . . . God? This behavior is most evident in Reparations Trials, Disability Acts, Abortion issues, Identity Crises, Mental Illness, etc. It seems people have replaced responsibility with demand. Perhaps it is easier (to blame) when another is supplying all the answers. What has civilization lost in trading its ability to evolve for a lifetime of infancy? Has comfort and entertainment replaced common sense? If people run from the responsibility of answering or solving their problems, what answer are they looking for? Does the answer depend on what figure of authority is supplying it? Do people truly want an answer, or just a pacifier, so they can continue their illusion of comfort, security, and entertainment they have become accustomed to? Why are people afraid of choice? Or are people afraid to accept consequences of choice? Of course, I am placing value in Responsibility of Self, do others? People turn to Government Authority for all factors of their lives. Punishment and Reward, Guidance and Restriction are supplied by some institution of Government: Religion, Law, Education, Psychotherapy. The State is worshiped as Benevolent (as it supplies all), its citizens (or followers) become its slaves to that Benevolence. Why? Is the Box Factor a behavior? Perhaps people run from themselves? Like the Box is mirrored. If people were to face their reflection, they would have to accept the truth of their existence: which is…? Are people capable of dealing with the possibility of no God; of illusion of extrinsic Government; of slavery to corporate whim; of a limitless, boundless existence of dimensions of holograms; of Unknown? Is the human mind capable of facing a lie?

As intelligent and well spoken as the majority of your post sounds, you confuse me by closing with a question that would seem to inspire deep thought and more shallow fear into the hearts of most people's minds...
but do you realize that we are already dealing with this "situation" ?

it's not like we have a choice.

and the solution, a God, or a revolution... well they may not be capable of
    "dealing with that".

I think you better unsubscribe from your Box theory yourself. No offense man, but you followed the very block you described in this thread and didn't truly get anywhere.
