    I am waiting for the I.Dometer, to show how much this lovely idea is 'spiraling out of control'. i think i will by the domain name right now, i would make myself a small fortune (or enough to pay for my own I.D card).... Ok maybe not

    Was it? Do you mean the conservative tories or the labour tories? :)

    EDIT: recapping and looking at the timeline here I'd say that both parties played a part in it ... Same old shit though, certain government issues will always get through no matter what party is in power.

    Well I know Labour-bashing's the flavour of the day, but you can hardly hold them to account for an idea that was originally implemented by the Tories. Sure, they could've pulled the plug on it, but a lot of money had already been spent, so you can kinda see how they were between a rock and a hard place.
