I am using a lube called discover from love honey but I'm finding that it starts to dry up after about 5 minutes. Can anyone recommend something that last longer as I find I'm using quite a lot in one go.
Astroglide Diamond Gel. It is a silicone lube that doesn’t dry out. You don’t need a lot, and it, like any silicone lube, can stain sheets. You can use it in the shower, and a hot tub, too! Not for use with condoms. It is also the BEST lube for anal toys (non-silicone) because it doesn’t dry out. Washed off with soap and water. Don’t spill, because this stuff is SLIPPERY!
Coconut Oil, If you aren't using any latex products, is hands down the best. Hubby and I use nothing else. Its natural. Effective. Odorless. Smooth as silk in my ass. Lasts well. Causes no ill effects. Hell I can use one of the lube inserter and practically "fill her up" before start any play and its amazing. Great for the skin to. Equate Personal lubricant from wal mart, it's a water based lubricant and very long lasting and really inexpensive
If we were out of regular lube like k-y or something like that, we've used a little vegetable oil, seems to work great...
A neat feature of coconut oil is that it can be formed into suppositories and placed in the freezer. They can then be put up your partner's butt for long lasting lubrication. It feels good too. I like to push them in part way, let her push it out some, push it back in again, etc.

Agreed. Coconut oil is great. One thing that I see over and over though, is to not use it with latex condoms. My wife and I have been using it with latex condoms for 15, maybe 20 years without a single issue. I have never used a condom on my wiener while having anal with her though. The condoms have always been used on toys, mostly plugs. However, we have, dozens of times, used the oil/latex combo on a dildo that she fucks vigorously 10-15 minutes at a time. Never a problem there either. I'm not suggesting someone take the chance and do this if STDs are a concern. Just relaying our experience. One thing I have noticed is that when we are doing DP (me vaginally, dildo anally) vigorously for more than a few minutes at a time, the oil seems to soak into my wife's skin, and needs to be reapplied after several minutes. I wonder if using a lube inserter like you would help by getting more "back there"? Is it not messier? I have also messed around with a vaseline/coconut oil mix (1/3 vaseline, 2/3 oil). My thought was that the vaseline would coat the skin and prevent the oil from being absorbed so quickly. Have not tried it yet. Hopefully today!
