I just saw it tonight. It was pretty hilarious. The combination of Rob Schneider, David Spade, Dane Cook, and the Napoleon Dynamite guy was very entertaining. Anyone else see it?
jon heder!!!!! lol sorry i just love that guy, he reminds me of my sis sometimes! i loved that movie because i could relate, once being a bench-warmer myself and the part where he ran the bases backwards....i did that in little league i just got so excited that i hit the ball, i just wanted to run! lol
For me, the best part of Benchwarmers was Nick Swardson (Howie). "For years I thought the sun was a monster. But I am here to tell you that it's not a monster! IT'S NOT A MONSTER!" I cringed watching him eat that sunscreen though. Blech!
i think it had a few funny parts, but i would never watch it again. the only reason i watched it was because of david spade.
JOHN HEDER! rocks my world. [not really, though] "wait, i just recieved a text message from my mom. right on! i'm having mac & cheese tonight!"
You have got to be kidding me..... once you guys grow up and see the Cohen Brother's movies, then tell me you've seen comedy... The Benchwarmers was disgusting... absolutely one of the worst movies ever made. I don't understand where you find the comedy in it. Is it the farting??? the burping??? That is all that's in that fucking movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TELL ME. WHAT IS FUNNY ABOUT THAT PITIFUL FUCKING EXCUSE FOR A MOVIE.
I guess everyone has a different idea of funny. Hubby thinks the Evil Dead series is hilarious, and absolutely thought Benchwarmers was good too. I think it is so-so. I agree that the fart and burp jokes are a bit much, but I am girl, and for some reason I am not built to think that kind of stuff is funny. My sister on the other hand, loves that kind of stuff, as does my niece. I don't swear and yell at them to explains themselves though, I pretty much got it. They like different stuff than me. That's it. Peace to all.
