I think they should be sainted. See how much joy they brought in our lives? For me every single song they come out with was a hit. Share your opinions with me please.
what the hell........ you people need to post these in the right places, or I will just start deleting things. this does NOT belong in the 80s.
I think Ringo should be made prime minister. And while we're on the topic, Keith Richards should be made pope.
The Beatles? are u people serious? what did they ever do that was so heroic? eh? I know u probably thinkin ooo shes only 17 she doesnt know shit about music! but not every1 in the world loves the beatles! if I seen paul macartney walkin down the street I'd Stab the fcuker!
There's a difference between disliking someones music and hating someone anough to 'stab the fucker'. Nobody's judging you because of your age, least of all me (for obvious reasons)... you just assume that people will think that. All I can tell from your post is that you have a hate for the Beatles and that you have some kind of trouble with writing the English language. Next time you wanna stab a 'fucker', make sure you get his name right.
I'm 17 years old too.....only I like Good Music. Not bullshit....like Good Charlotte. Stop making 17-year-olds look bad. That and I, unlike yourself, have mastered the english language. I find having a rich vocabulary can actually make you seem older than 10. As for what they accomplished, your shitty little band wouldn't exist without these blokes. They came in and defined Rock and Roll. They caused a revolution, which you obviously can't appreciate because you like your nice little conformist Poppy bands. They changed people's thinking. Their music was the soundtrack to the great and ever-changing sixties. Sgt. Pepper came out and blew everyone's minds. Abbey Road made people cry and laugh and fall in love all over again with this truly amazing band. Not to mention three of the greatest songwriters to ever live- George Harrison, Paul McCartney, and John Lennon. And one kick ass drummer- Ringo Starr. The world knew these names and spun their records listening with rapt interest, opening their minds to accept this new and crazy amazing sound and all these new ideas. I can't name one member of Good Charlotte and never intend on doing so, and they will not be remembered. But the Beatles will live on as long as music lives. As for you, my love, you should be safely tucked away with sick bastards like Mike Abram and Mark David Chapman. This obsession you have with stabbing Macca is not healthy. ~Layla
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let's talk Beatles! Favorite albums? I love Revolver, Abbey Road, White Album, Rubber Soul and Let It Be Although I like what was said in Anthology (by my Beloved George Harrison I think) that Rubber Soul and Revolver could've been like volumes 1 and 2 of the same album. As a George fan, I'd have to say my boy is most widely praised for his two contributions to Abbey Road ("Something" and "Here Comes the Sun"). I love both, and in fact Here Comes the Sun is not only my favorite Beatles song, but my favorite song of all time. But there are a few George gems overlooked quite a bit, like "The Inner Light" and "It's All Too Much". I can't even explain what the Beatles have done in my life. I was just an angry, sullen, depressed teenager. And putting on a Beatle record made me feel happy- this great high you only get from mind-blowing music. I want Ringo for President, and Paul for Prime Minister and together they will rule the world ~Layla
I like the beatles and they were and still are a great band but I think peope give them way too much credit sometimes. All they did was make peaceful songs that got stuck in your head.
