The beach is now open

In light of the closing of the previous beach another has reopened. You are all welcome to enjoy the sun, sand, and ocean. Just a few ground rules here and please follow them or the beach will close. Have fun but please be respectful and follow all posted signs.

1. All pets must be on a leash and must be cleaned up after. Nobody wants to step in poo.
2. Alcoholic beverages are allowed but must be in either plastic or aluminum containers. No glass
3. Nudity is not allowed . No genitals, nipples, camel toes, overtly sexual images.
4. Please make sure blankets, lawn chairs, etc are all at least eight feet apart.

With that said have fun and as always if a lifeguard or beach patrol ask you for any reason to leave or move then obey them.

I know the moderators and staff are trying to CYA and the lawyers are probably advising content, but this still stinks. It's a shame we live in a society where nudity is still seen as something dirty, shameful, unnatural and legally troublesome. This thread just doesn't have the same spirit.

 

I have no control over what can and cannot be posted. I opened the beach for fun in the sun and b/c I'm tired of being cooped up inside. All are free to post and comment but please no negative comments. I'm generally easy to get along with.

Sorry, didn't mean to bring down the vibe. You put in the effort to bring about some happiness and I'm sure you will accomplish that with the help of others who also post. I don't want to stand in the way of that happiness.

 

I see where you are going now.
It would be very tempting for people cooped up in apartments in the city, but in rural areas most people are catching up with the DIY.
PS, is their a restriction on the length of the dog leash.? or will they be allowed to sniff noses.?
