Lately I've been trying to figure out how i can fight this side effect. I've thought about taking a ginseng vile after i smoke or taking vitamins to boost my body back into energetic shape. I'm wondering what exactly causes the burn out and is there a way to evade it? Any input is appreciated, I want to fully overcome that Peace
I try to do stuff, not sit around, you know? Me and my buddies play frisbee most of the time and we also do other stuff. I've also heard that if you drink enough fluids (since weed makes you dehydrated) you would avoid the burnt-out feeling. I unfourtunately do not know enough about the brain to determine what causes the burn-out, but I guess try different things?
yeah i think the best thing to do is just do anything! i always feel more active once i've actually gotten up to do something...and by the way,frisbees are amazing! hallowed, are you sure that marijuana makes you dehydrated? i've never heard that before
Well, I've heard it from more than one person, but my friend passed out because he was stoned, and he drank more than 20 oz of water before then. He passed out inside a local boardshop, it was scary at first, but then afterwards it was hilarious! Later we found out he passed out becuase he was dehydrated. I don't know if this is to reaffirm my point, but it's just what I have heard.
Weed slows down the salivating glands... so i hear at least... so drink water... lots of it.... one power-ade or something with electrolytes in it might help too, but only one bottle.... and two glasses of water after that... it'll clean the system and the water will taste so incredibly good that you'll smoke just to get that hydrated, refreshed and revitalized feeling... maybe some green tea wouldn't hurt if you're not up for the sports drinks... it has antioxidants... which fight aging and other negative factors, and it typically gives a lil' boost, but not like coffee or anything... this is different... and awesome! I was working all day on rooting out a holly bush yesterday... I live in GA, and it was about 95 out, so I drank like 20 glasses of water and my clothes were dripping with sweat.... Then I drank a cup of green tea with my lunch, and man... it was like the Pop-eye effect or something.... I found my spinach, so to say! I would think a lil' green tea with what's already green would make a lovely combo... I'll have to try this and get back to ya....
yes, thats a very good idea with drinking lots of water. I think its also a good idea to be active, even if its just walking around.
to me a burn out are the people who don't do anything but sit around stoned all day, flunk out of school, and end up living at home into their 20s. If you're talking about feeling tired after or while smoking, I'd say either stop for a few days, or go for a run, eat some good food, play some frisbee, etc.
Just pump yourself full of coffee and DO SOMETHING. Go for a run, walk somewhere, go to a show, anything. I always find listening to upbeat music helps.
I prefer having a pitcher of green tea in the fridge. At one point I was drinking one or two pitchers a day... I need to get back to doing that.
I ran 6 miles after I smoked, with no water or anything. My throat got so dry I sounded like I got kicked in the nuts. Anyway, the next day I felt like I was dead.
If im in a tired environment i will probably get really sleepy and go to bed..otherwise im usually fine. lmao...
totally agree on the eating, especially binging! if i can resist the food i usually feel fine.. even when i dont smoke and eat heaps before bed i wake up feeling like crap!
