No baking of any sort in this household today. I had sushi for dinner.

 

Mmmm, I think I'm going to have sushi for dinner tonight. But I'm too lazy to go out so far, so we'll see what happens.

 

Well, if you feel like stopping by at my mysterious cave, I shall have some sushi ready for you to pick up. You can always come a bit early and hang out for a bit here, too.

HAHA! No it's just been a long day. My parents have been weird and this guy I like has been messing with my brain. SO baking cures that. Gonna go shopping later and I might just have to stop by your cave.

This guy that I work with and commonly refer to as my ex on here. Lately he has been quite sweet. Yesterday we had a photo shoot for the new campaign that the maker we work for is doing and the whole time he was being loving and telling me how much he wants to be with me and that I understand him like no one else. I don't know what to do. He treats me like crap but we're still good friends and I don't want to be with him, but at this point I really don't want to be without him.


FD, that is not quite what I meant by 500 words. Didn't I tell you to tell everyone how great I am not about my jeans?!? Just kidding of course(I think) hopefully we can get together this weekend or coming week to see HP. I'm happy your computer is working again.

So let me try to understand this.. You don't want to be with him, but you still want him as your friend... Am I getting this right? If so, that's totally understandable.

Well, what you've told me about this "ex" of yours is that he has been rather disrespectful toward you in the past. So, naturally, I hear the warning bell when you tell me he's being all nice to you. Of course, I don't know the guy so I can't really say anything with strong conviction... But you know how things often are with guys like that. I'd really proceed with caution if I were you.

 

Thank you AT. I am being extremely cautious. He wants me to come to his apartment on thanksgiving because his family will be there, but I'm really not sure I want that because I know he will introduce me as his gf and I don't even know if I want that with him. Plus we were only screwing around, I don't think it's time to meet his whole extended and immediate family.

 

Yeah, if he IS going to introduce you to his family as his girlfriend, it could make the situation rather awkward. Say, if he wouldn't do that, would you be interested in going to this dinner thing? Or would you rather keep a certain distance from him?

Well, you know... If you're not going to his place, you are invited to my cave again for dinner. Maybe we can get a bunch of people together, like Hacker, Beast, Sara, lakshen, diamonds, nowar... Who else should we invite? lol

I don't know what to do. I called him my bf when we were hooking up and he liked it but he only called me his gf when it would aid him in some way. For example, he wanted to look mature and goal oriented and those kinds of mine have stable mature girlfriends. Whatever, I like to be appreciated but I need to be treated right, and he doesn't know how to do that.

 

How would he react if you introduced him to your friends as your fiance?

Exactly, well my dad thinks he's a whore, so I am tempted to just tell him one day "hey dad, know that guy we work with that you think is the most horrible person on the planet besides for Clinton, well when I turn 18 we're getting married". The ex will be in a dumpster and my dad will be pissed. My bosses would love it if I married him though.
