I just the love the Andy Griffith Show! It was a simpiler time them!
Don Knotts as Barney Fife made the show!

 

only episodes i like are with ernest t bass.

 

Some of those are unforgettable.

Its sad to report the death of Don Knotts, on 2-25-2006!
He will be greatly missed, he was Barney Fife for all of us, because we all have a little bit of Barney in all of us!

 

hmm, he was on Three's Company too, Don Knotts that is.

 

I love the Andy Griffith show, too. I was so sad when Don Knotts died.
I love the episode when they make Barney do the solo in the choir but have a man with a bass voice behind the curtain singing for him. So hilarious!

 

This show is hilarious high!

 

That was a good one. The lyrics were something like 'balmy and dry'.

There was another episode where someone in Mayberry let his house run down and the people were going to run him out of the town. Andy eventually talked them into helping the guy out and everyone contributed to fixing up his house for him. Don't see too many themes like that in today's TV shows.

Andy Griffith was one of the best shows that was ever on TV. It was really funny, clean, and taught people real good lessons about morals and how to treat each other. I don't think it would be possible to make a show like that today. People would think it's 'corny'. Well, I sure didn't think so. Barney Fife is dead! Long live Barney Fife!

 

My favorite episode, or one of my top ten, was when he bought the motorcycle and sidecar, and when he bought the car off the future Grandma Walton!

 

LOVE this show! (Just the one's with Don Knotts, of course)


My favorite is the one where Andy and Barney have to escort a truck carrying gold to Fort Knox through the county, but word leaks out!

 

On one episode, Andy said to Gomer, "Now Gomer, you've got to make sure that you don't say anything about this to anybody" Gomer said to Andy "Not even you?".

One time Barney had deputized Gomer to help him guard the jail so that some crooks didn't come and break their friends out who were in the jail. When the crooks drove up at the jail to break their friends out, Gomer said to Barney, "Shazaam, we better call the police" Barney: "Gomer, we ARE the police".

 

I watch re-runs with my mom.

 

There is a lot to be said for Otis Campbell! He was great!

 

i used to watch it as a kid.i think it was because i really liked the opening song

 

The song is called (The Fishing Hole)!

There are even words to it!

 

I've never been that big of a fan (my Dad is though. He's been watching it since it's original run).

My favorite episode in the one where Opie joins that club, and gets blamed for burning down a farmer's barn. At the end, it turns out the farmer burnt down his own barn with the still he was running inside of it. The scene where barney gets accidentally drunk is the funniest.

 

I saw one today where Otis the drunk, was riding a cow, and thought it was a horse!

SO GREAT!

 

It's a hilarious show.
Don Knotts just cracks me up.
Little Ron Howard was so cute.
