Democrats are now pointing fingers in more directions than the Scarecrow in the Wizard of Oz. Blame is flying at the speed of light. And yet, the 600 pound gorilla in the room is being ignored. Two things Democrats insisted on employing for a win that failed miserably have yet to be mentioned. Lawfare failed, and not only failed, but exploded in their face. In their zeal to villify Trump as a Nazi, a fascist, as the 'horrible orange man', they resorted to impeachments, fabricated crimes, and endless games of fantasy badness. January 6th and Liz Cheney's vendetta were, are, and will forever lodge in the minds of common sense Americans as a campaign of pure, unfair bullshit, and the average American resents unfair, even unconstitutional vengeance. The other gorilla was the ignorance of those factors that were most punishing to Americans, esp inflation, the war on fossil fuels, and the green new deal. People were, are and will remain fed up with ignoring their kitchen table issues in favor of open borders and crime, illegal immigration, and social programs run amok, especially in throwing infinite resources to illegals when tax paying Americans went without (ie East Palestine, Ohio). Identity politics and woke policies have left most Americans with a feeling that taking a Democrat behind the woodshed for an ass-whoopin' was well overdue. November 5th was as much for these reasons as the fact that people simply agreed they were better off four years ago.
