It was apparently made by extracting and purifying THC from cannabis plant material using a soxhlet extractor, followed by reaction with acetic anhydride in an analogous manner to how heroin is made from morphine.

Is Thc-Acetate feasible to synth with out a lab? Has anyone encountered this before?

They say it could be used as like a non-toxic incapacitation for surgery of whatever else. For some reason I have a feeling I might not come across this in my life.

I would really like to try this. apparently its more psychedelic and spiritual than regular THC, and, unusually- it takes 30 minutes for the effects to come on.

Im sure it is feasible without a lab, although, from the recapies I have read- it is urged that you build a saftey box in which the perform the operation, to sheild youself from any possible explosions due to the explosive and dangerous nature of acetic anhydride.

(random thought) would it be at all possible to make THC-O-acetate with Acetic acid?
I just thought because it hasa 'acetate' in the name.

well I can find reagent ethyl alcohol, and reagent grade acetic anhydride fairly easy, but I think I would stay away from it until I had a way to purify the THC so you get a pretty logical out come of the reaction, ie getting THC- acetate instead of something like CBN - acetate if that exists. If this stuff is really all its cracked up to be you think more people would make it instead of heroine, but who knows?
