I never had all the horrible symptoms I do now when I first starting having my period. Now it's just awful sometimes. Every month it's different symptoms. Sometimes my hands get so hot and sweaty I can't even do simple things like put on my jewelry. Sometimes I have cramps so bad it feels like someone is either stabbing me or trying to pull my lady parts right out of me and I have to lay down all day. I get mad over nothing and cry over nothing sometimes. I realize I'm being over emotional usually, but nothing I try to do about it seems to work. I don't know, I'm just all over the place all the time. I get that our moods go up and down we us girls have our monthly visitor, but I feel like mine are quite ridiculous.
Do the rest of you have changing symptoms like me or do your typically stay about the same?
What kind of things do you do to make you feel better (besides PMS medicine)?
Part of my problem is that I was on the Depo shot four four years so it really fucks with my stomach at time too. Any one else have problems while on the depo or afterward?

I guess I'm drawn to these period threads tonight because I have cramps so effing bad it's all I can think about. My breasts feel so full, it feels like my shirt is hurting them :(
Yet, I'd rather have a period than not...I'm afraid of menopause one day.
This period was kind of light...and odd, so I had a freak out thinking I was going to have menopause. Why do we have to be so damn complex?

I've had that issue of extreme fatigue, dizziness and feeling really really hot in temperature.

Check your diet and activity level. Bad bad periods like this are caused by hormonal imbalances. You could have too much or too little estrogen flowing, your body also processes estrogen through the liver to get rid of excess at certain points. So diet / what you do with your body and consume makes a huge difference. I don't suffer from terrible periods anymore, they hardly bother me.

Oh, my diet is terrible right now. Especially through these holiday's.
But sometimes when I'm eating right, I have found my cramps to be even more severe. even when exercising regularly.

Yeesh. Well I can understand some cramping but if its severe have you seen your doctor? That is concerning. I know when mine were really bad I couldn't function.

Nah, I can't imagine my doctor doing anything besides trying to put me on the pill and I don't really want to do that just to slow down my pms/period pain!
Today it hurt so bad, I was breathing heavy :(
    It's just....a bad one.

You can take hormones. They have estrogen pills for that if the level is too low. And others to counteract high estrogen levels.

I mean it just depends how miserable you are. If I were bent over hobbling every month, I would probably ask for some type of balance.
