That mysterious awards icon.

So weird. First, I had it .. then it jumped to Irminsul .. then it went back to me. It's SO distracting. But only when it's on my name. I like it when other people have it lol just not me. So I figured out how to get rid of it. It's gone. I don't see it anymore, haha.

What is a mysterious award icon?

 

It's an activity award given to people who post a lot per their time on here.

 

I see, never seen it on anyone yet.

 

You're here just as much as me. How come you don't have the mysterious award?

It's happened before, actually. Moonglow had it but it seemed to have jumped from her to me. Then it went back to her and I didn't have it anymore. And it just happened again a few days ago where I had it, then it jumped to Irm, then back to me. Very peculiar.

Happened twice. Well, I don't have to worry about it anymore because I found a way to get rid of the little award icon .. because it distracts me. But only when it's on MY name. Not when it's on other people's name.

I'd like to have a star though. I wouldn't use Ad Blocker for the star.

It should still be there for other people to see. It's the yellow thing that looks sort of like a pimple next to my name. lol

 

If it is just saying you have a high post count why does it bother you?

I see stars by some people's names and a thumbs up by some, never seen a pimple tho, not sure what it looks like.

 

I think it would be cool if their were other awards given out..

'At least I tried'
'I'm special'
'Amazing poster'
'I got through my nervous break down today'
stuff like that

 

It's the little yellow activity award. It should still be there (right next to my name). Other people can see it but I can't see it anymore. I figured out how to use Ad Blocker to remove it so I can't see it.

It's just distracting for me. Not when other people have it though.

I've always wondered, what do the stars mean? I think the thumbs up means supporter, right?

 

I'm gonna unblock it then and see if it reappears. That would be strange though, if using Ad Blocker gets rid of it on *other people's* computer.

But you keep saying that it's "so weird," and "mysterious." You've mentioned it in other threads.

No offence, but it's not a wacky mystery or uber weird. It's just an award that moves from poster to poster as the post counts fluctuate.
