Does anyone know what makes that noise on 13th floor elvator songs. For example in "Slide Machine", it has that weird slidey sounding thing in the background. I cant really explain the sound. But if anyone thinks they know what im talking about, then what is it?
I have the 13th floors debut record and it actually talks about that noise on their recordings on the sleeve of the record. I'll check it out and post later.
its supposedly an electric jug, but ive read that the jug just had a cord in it to make it look like it was electric, and the guy (forgot his name ) made the noises with his mouth. it sounds like its harder, but i can sorta do that sound with my mouth, so its not that impossible.
yeh i knew wut it was... i do the same thing, u gotta make like ur gonna whistle but blow and suck air back and forth really fast
