So Jeff Bezos had the trip of a life and all the press is being hysterical about that. He thanked every amazon customer and employee for contributing to his leisure flight but he didn't take into account the fact that a lot of those who "contributed" would've been more glad if once he'd gone to space he stayed there in his cockrocket. This is without comparison the biggest slap in the face that a fatcat could deliver to humanity as a whole. I think such an act of unbridled hybris shouldn't go unpunished.
Adding insult to injury is sending William Shatner up there, after he refused to do so for Branson... Branson wanted to charge Bill for the ride, apparently Bezos paid him an undisclosed sum for the 'performance.' And on top of that, they had the nerve to say that Bill was the first ever Star Trek actor to go to space... That honor went to Dr. Mae Jemison: She appeared in the Next Generation alongside this guy:
No Zen matey, the first 'Star Trek' member into space was James Doohan - aka 'Scottie'. When he died his ashes were taken tothe International Space Station !!!
