I'm doing all the cooking for one half of my family this year and wanted to see what you other folks are cooking up/ share some recipes.

    For food I'm making:
    Apps:
Cheese and cracker plate with fruit
Artichoke/spinach cheesy dip in a bread bowl with bread to dip
    Homemade hummus and veggie
    Stuffed shrooms

    Main:
    14lb turkey
    Mashed Taters
    Baked Mac and Cheesy
    Green beans
    Squash
    Sweet potaters
    Stuffing
    Homemade cran sauce
    Homemade rolls

    Dessert:
    Pumpkin brown butter cookies
    Apple Pie
    Pumpkin Cheese Cake

Also, what are you guys thankful for this year? One of my new favorite quotes, which I'm using as the pre-feast prayer this year is "Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful"

Duuuude Bailey, I wanna come to your place for thanksgiving! All that sounds so good, and I knowww you're a great cook! Haha.. I'm not making anything for my family's thanksgiving. I let my mom and aunt worry about all that. Everything they make is delicious.

And I'm thankful for my friends, and family, and the delicious food, and the week break I get from school ;)

I'll never forget, last year my Grandma came in town for Thanksgiving. My Mom always makes snacks to eat before our main meal, like queso, salsa, mini-sausage links, etc. I smoked a bowl on the way to my parents house, so of course the first thing I did was walk in and hit up the snacks. My grandma practically yells "Well someone has the munchies!", and my whole family started cracking up. My grandma stood around clueless to why everyone thought it was so funny.

I'm coming to your place for Thanksgiving Bailey :drool5:

I was gonna go to New Hampshire with my roomie but I haven't been home once this semester so I'd feel bad not going.

I'm so fucking excited for thanksgiving.

my friend was trying to get me to blaze with him before we both go to dinner, but I told him that would be really fucking awkward to be around all my family like my little cousins and my aunts and uncles while really baked. although in a different situation that would be fun.

I think i'm going to wake and bake that morning though, and maybe smoke a little before we leave, like an hour before or something so im not totally fried when i get there, but still have the munchies.
